Abstract

A seal-guarantee band for injection moulded thermoplastic bottle caps is deformed hot to cover a boss on the bottle and is connected as one piece to the cap by at least one bridge section. The band is a hollow cylinder and has an internal necked part between the bridges where its surface is horizontal inwards.
