Messergruppen bekannt geworden, von denen die eine feststehend, die andere hingegen
auf- und abwärts beweglich ist und jede mit ihren Tragkanten bei Fachschluß eine
horizontale Ebene bildet. Bei diesen Maschinen wird jede Platine von zwei parallelen
Nadeln umgriffen, und diese Werden von zwei Kartenprismen beeinflußt. Vorliegende
Erfindung ermöglicht es, daß die Platinen durch ein einziges Kartenprisma betätigt
werden, über welches zwei Kartenketten g' elegt sind, deren den Nadeln gegenüberstehen-de
Karten, paarweise übereinanderliegend, durch eine der halben Druckweite der Platinen
entsprechend dicke, in gleicher Weise wie die Prismenflächen gelochte Zwischenplatte
in Abstand voneinander gehalten werden, so #daß die gleichzeitige Bildung des Ober-
und Unterfaches erfolgt, in-Item die -verschiedenen Platinen, von denen
jede nur von einer einzigen Nadel gesteuert zu werden braucht, durch die
beiden Karten in verschiedenem Maße zurückgedrückt werden bzw. unbeeinflußt bleiben,
