Description
Radnabe mit Kugellager für mehr oder minder abgenutzte kegelige Radzapfen. Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Radnabe mit Kugellager für kegelige Radzapfen, die auf Zapfen von verschiedenen Abmessungen, namentlich auf verschieden stark abgenutzte Zapfen aufgesetzt werden kann, so daß sie für fertige, ursprünglich nur mit Gleitlager versehene Wagen leicht zu verwenden ist. Die Nabe selbst gewährt hierbei zugleich eine Betriebssicherheit d!adurch, daß sie im Fall des Bruches eines Kugellagers als Gleitlager weiterlaufen kann. Die Aufgabe ist so gelöst, daß .die inneren Kugellaufringe auf die beiden Enden einer Hülse oder Buchse aufgezogen sind, die innen kegelig gestaltet ist, annähernd so wie die Zapfen, für die das Lager bestimmt ist. Diese kegelige Buchse wird fest auf den Zapfen aufgetrieben, soweit es seine Abmessungen oder die Abnutzung gestattet, und in dieser Lage befestigt. Die Nabe greift gleichzeitig mit Laufflächen zwischen den beiden Kugellagern 'hindurch bis auf den äußeren Mantel der Buchse, die an dieser Stelle zylindrisch gestaltet ist, und läuft auf dieser als Gleitlager weiter, falls ein Kugellager in Unordnung gerät.Wheel hub with ball bearings for more or less worn tapered wheel journals.
