Abstract
Description
Steigbügel mit Sattel für den Reitsport. Stirrups with saddle for equestrian sports.
The invention relates to a stirrup with a saddle for equestrian sports.
As is well known, the equestrian associations recommend equestrian sport with a suitable riding horse and with additional aids such as bridle and Exercise saddle. The saddle includes brackets for holding riding shoes (shoes or boots) of the rider. Such stirrups are called stirrups, but it works The importance of such stirrups goes far beyond the actual climbing and holding function as an aid to the rider. Any change in the rider's pressure on the stirrup, every change in the direction of this pressure acts as a signal on the riding horse. (Compare the book "Gymnasium des Pferd" by Steinbrecht, Verlag Dr Rudolf Georgi, Aachen, 10th edition 1978, page 31off) If a rider therefore during of riding does not have a firm hold for his feet, rather the riding shoes from the Stirrups slip and he has to fish for the stirrups in his riding shoes, the riding horse feels constant signals due to pressure of changing strength and direction. It will therefore irritates and performs movements that the rider did not want at all. To avoid this disadvantage are known stirrups with inserts made of rubber-like material Mistake are. These known inserts are corrugated and reduce the sliding ability of the riding shoe sole relative to the stirrup floor. However, such known inserts can do not prevent the shoe from losing contact with the stirrup when riding and then but slips out of the stirrup.
The invention is based on the object of creating a stirrup, which strengthens the contact between the bottom of the hanger and the shoe sole and the unwanted Separation of riding shoe and stirrup floor largely rules out. This task will solved by the invention described in the characterizing part of claim 1. Advanced training of the invention are described in the subclaims.
To explain the invention in more detail, several are in the following Embodiments ben described with reference to the drawings. These show in FIG. 1 a stirrup with a saddle in the bottom of which an electromagnet can be used.
La an insert for the stirrup Fig. 2 a stirrup base with magnet FIG. 3 an insert for a stirrup according to FIG. 2.
Fig. 4 eine Weiterbildung der Fig. 3 mit mehreren Magneten Fig. 5 einen Ausschnitt des in Fig. 1 gezeigten Sattels.FIG. 4 shows a further development of FIG. 3 with a plurality of magnets in FIG. 5 a section of the saddle shown in FIG.
In Fig. 1, a stirrup 1 is shown in which a plate-shaped trained bracket base 2 via bracket legs 3, 4 with a bracket 5 for the Connecting strap 5a is connected to the saddle 6. For riders who ride every day or for highly qualified sport riders, well-known stirrups only provide minor ones or no trouble. However, many riders pull stirrups with an insert made of rubber or other comparable material for high friction the stirrup in front. Fig.la shows an insert 7 for a stirrup 1 according to Fig 1. This known insert 7 is clamped in the window 2 a of the stirrup base plate 2 and increases the friction between the base of the stirrup and the sole of the riding shoe. The insert 7 is on its surface with a plurality of projections 7a, knobs, Grooves or the like provided to increase the friction. This formation of the surface although reduces the fact that the shoe or boot accidentally slip out of the stirrup can, but it does not eliminate the relative movement that is practically unavoidable when riding between the shoe and the stirrup, which lead to the separation of the shoe and the stirrup can. This slight separation is prevented by an electromagnet 8, which is shown in the base plate 2 or in the insert 7 is used and if necessary via a Switch 9 can be activated. For this purpose, a battery (10) is in the saddle 6 and at least one switch 9 inserted, which is connected via wires 8a, 8b to each other and to the solenoid 8 are connected. The battery 10 can be placed anywhere in the Saddle (6) are arranged, for example, in the thicker seat parts 6a. she can also be designed as a solar cell or contain one for this If so, the solar cell on the outside of the saddle is exposed to light Place attached. The contacts of switch 9, on the other hand, are assigned to those positions on which the rider exerts pressure while riding, such as the point 12 against which the Rider squeezes his knees.
Fig. 2 shows the development of a stirrup 1, which also previously prevents unavoidable relative movement between shoe and stirrup. To this The purpose of this is to insert the magnet 8, which is cylindrical here, into the bracket base 2. The magnet 8 is fastened in a recess of the bracket base 2 so that its end face flush with the surface of the bracket base 2 and its body and its winding 8c is enclosed by the bracket base 2. The scope of the magnet 8th or the circumference of a holder surrounding the magnet 8 is grooved so that the groove projections jam in the wall of the recess. The wires 8c are placed around the cylinder so that they have sufficient holding force of the magnet (8) cause. Instead of the one magnet 8 shown over a large area, several Magnets arranged distributed over the surface of the bracket base 2 can be used. The connecting wires 8a, 8b of the magnet 8 are in profile grooves 3a, 4a of the bracket legs 3.4 out of the way to the saddle 6.
Fig. 3 shows an insert 7 with a large area magnet 8. The Connection of the wires 8a, 8b can be effected by means of contact surfaces, which upon insertion of the insert 7 make contact with the corresponding connections of the electromagnet 8.
Fig.4 zeigt einen Einsatz mit mehreren Magneten 7, die in entsprechende Aussparungen 8 des Einsatzes 7 eingefügt sind.4 shows an insert with several magnets 7, which are in corresponding Recesses 8 of the insert 7 are inserted.
The better results on shoe and stirrup adhesion could be also make it difficult to separate the shoe from the stirrup in the event of an accident. Here works the use of an electromagnet with the specified arrangement of the contacts cheap at certain points on the saddle. As soon as in the course of a In the event of an accident, the rider breaks off the saddle or the knees no longer exert any pressure, the magnet is de-energized and no longer has any attraction force. This will make the separation relieved in the event of an accident. It is therefore not necessary to use the bracket base 2 to connect one of the bracket legs 3 or 4 separably, as is the case with some Stirrups is known.
Fig. 5 Zeigt ein Beispiel für die Ausbildung der Kontakte 9.5 shows an example of the formation of the contacts 9.
The saddle 6 consists of several solid layers 20, 21 made of leather or similar. There is yielding between these layers material 23 added to reduce the impact on the rider. On the inside of one of the solid layers 20,21 a layer 24 of conductive material is applied, which is either itself one of the conductors 8a, 8b or is connected to this conductor. This layer 214 is cut out at one point 25. In the recess thus formed 25, an electrode 26 made of a similar conductive material is inserted is either connected to the conductor 8b or becomes this. Above the recess 25, a curved spring 27 is arranged so that it covers the recess and rests with their edges on the conductive material. Between the upper layer of leather 21 and the dome of the spring 27 is a pressure medium, for example a helical spring 28 fixedly stored. If pressure is applied to the outside of the leather layer 21, so first the helical spring 28 is compressed. Has this spiral spring 28 enough If pressure is built up, it will push the domed spring 27 flat and flatter until it suddenly jumps in the direction of the pressure being exerted. Through this snap or jumping process in the manner of a cracking frog lies the underside of the spring 28 suddenly on the electrode 26 and closes the contact between the two conductors. As soon as the pressure drops, the spring jumps back into its rest position and opens the switch again. It is possible by means of such a contact to switch several magnets 8, which are fixed in one or both stirrups. But it is also possible to assign such contacts to several points on the saddle and switch separate magnets.
The invention is not limited to the use of springs described type. It is also possible to switch contacts by air pressure by the knees or the weight of the rider's cuffs are more or less compressed, as used, for example, in blood pressure measuring devices. Also electronic, Pressure-sensitive elements can be used to switch on the magnets.
