GEDRÜCKTE MEMBRANFEDERKUPPLUNG MIT SELBSTTÄTIGEM VERSCHLEISS-PRESSED DIAPHRAGM SPRING COUPLING WITH AUTOMATIC WEAR
AUSGLEICH IM BEREICH DES KIPPKREISESBALANCING IN THE AREA OF THE TILTING CIRCLE
BESCHREIBUNGDESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a friction clutch, in particular for motor vehicles, consisting, inter alia, of one on one
Flywheel attached clutch housing, a pressure plate, the
is axially loaded by a diaphragm spring in the direction of the flywheel and which is axially displaceable but fixed in the circumferential direction, the diaphragm spring being supported in its radially outer area on the pressure plate and in a central area on the housing and radially inwardly extending spring tongues as
Has release elements, and for the fixation and axial support of the diaphragm spring, support elements are attached to the housing in their central area, which support elements penetrate the diaphragm spring in corresponding openings.
1 775 Ho known. In this known friction clutch, in order to avoid play between the diaphragm spring and its restraint in the area of its tilting circle in the event of wear, it is proposed that
to cushion the support which is subjected to force during the disengagement process by a spring so strongly that in all operating states
the diaphragm spring is clamped free of play at this point.
This backlash-free clamping of the diaphragm spring via a
very high spring force results in a strong hysteresis between
Engagement and disengagement, which means that there is a loss of contact pressure between the pressure plate and the flywheel. In addition, here is
to be considered .; that when riveting the support elements
entstehenden Toleranzen durch diese Federvorspannung überbrückt werden müssen, so daß in der Praxis eine weit höhere Federvorspannung vorgesehen werden muß, als sie tatsächlich unter Umständen notwendig wäre.resulting tolerances must be bridged by this spring preload, so that in practice a much higher spring preload must be provided than it might actually be necessary under certain circumstances.
Es'ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, diese Nachteile einer spielfreien Anordnung einer Membranfeder zu vermeiden und eine automatische Spielnachstellung vorzusehen,, die möglichst wenig negative Auswirkungen auf die Funktion der Reibungskupplung aufweist OIt is the object of the present invention to address these disadvantages to avoid play-free arrangement of a diaphragm spring and to provide an automatic play adjustment, which as little as possible has negative effects on the function of the friction clutch O
The stated problem is solved by the characterizing part of the main claim. Fliehkraftbeaufschlagbarer by arranging, substantially radially displaceable compensating elements between the diaphragm spring and support elements on the no-load side of the diaphragm spring in the engaged condition of the clutch and by a corresponding inclination of the abutment surfaces, against which the compensation elements is, it is possible to perform s an automatic wear compensation, which possibly with a low axial force component acts on the clamping of the diaphragm spring.
The compensating elements can have a rotationally symmetrical j-shape. As a result, the tolerances are between the support elements and the diaphragm spring in the axial direction practically meaningless, since each of these rotationally symmetrical compensating elements independently of the other compensates for play at its installation location can make.
Further developments of the concept of the invention set out. For example, the individual compensation elements are designed as separate components and with a Provided elongated hole, the parallel guide surfaces by corresponding parallel, radially extending mating guide surfaces the support elements are guided exactly. This ensures that the support surfaces on the support elements with the opposing contact surfaces always correspond in the desired way on the compensation elements. However, it is also easily possible that Compensating elements as several equally large circular ring sections
auszuführen, die jeweils mindestens zwei benachbarte Stützelemen-.te umfassen und diesen gegenüber bei ihrer radialen Verschiebung geführt sind.execute, the at least two adjacent support elements .te include and these are guided opposite in their radial displacement.
Es zeigen im einzelnen:The invention will then be described on the basis of exemplary embodiments explained in more detail. They show in detail:

In Figures 1 and 2, the upper half of a printing plate is in each case 1 shown in section. It consists of the clutch housing 2, a pressure plate 3, for example via tangential straps 6 is rotatably connected to the clutch housing, but allows axial displacement. Between clutch housing 2 and pressure plate 3, the diaphragm spring 4 is arranged, which is in one piece is provided with spring tongues 5 pointing radially inward. The diaphragm spring 4 is supported at its outer circumference on the pressure plate 3 and is supported on the clutch housing 2 in a middle diameter area. This support is necessary for the so-called. "Pressed" friction clutches, in which the spring tongues 5 are moved towards the clutch to disengage the clutch are provided on both sides of the diaphragm spring 4, usually For this purpose, a support element 8 in the form of a rivet bolt is arranged in the clutch housing 2, d £ r the axial force support the diaphragm spring 4 receives. Here, between the clutch housing 2 and the support element 8 on each side of the diaphragm spring 4 each have a wire ring 9 arranged, however, a bead 10 can also be formed by the coupling housing 2, which replaces one wire ring. Such an embodiment is shown in FIG. In Fig. 1, the wire ring is between the diaphragm spring 4 and support element 8 arranged as a bead element 13, wherein this version will be discussed in more detail later »

For the basic puncture of such a diaphragm spring coupling according to Figures 1 and 2 show the following:
In addition to the pressure plate 1, the complete clutch also consists of the clutch disc (not shown) and the flywheel »Here the clutch housing 2 is firmly screwed to the flywheel and runs with it around the axis of rotation 7. Between the flywheel and Pressure plate 3, the clutch disc is clamped, with the diaphragm spring 4 due to their in the engaged state of the clutch Biasing force on the one hand on the pressure plate 3 and on the other hand on the bead 10 of the housing 2 is supported. To disengage the clutch and thus to release the clutch disc, over a release system exerted a force on the spring tongues 5 and pivoted these spring tongues 5 in the direction of the pressure plate 3 « At the support of the diaphragm spring 4 on the housing side, there is a change of contact from the bead 10 to the bead element, ment 13 or, the wire ring 9 instead. Opposite to the direction of movement of the spring tongues 5, the diaphragm spring 4 pivots its outer circumference away from the flywheel and enables the pressure plate 3j to increase its distance from the flywheel to the extent that that the clutch disc is free from frictional restraint. The coupling process takes place in the opposite direction of movement. Due to the pivoting movement of the diaphragm 4 in the area of its support On the clutch housing 2 and as a result of the pad change, wear occurs at this point over time. That means, that the required disengagement travel on the spring tongues 5 is greater. For automatic play adjustment in this area is provided that the beads 10 on the coupling housing 2 opposite support areas 9 and 13 with an axial displacement mechanism can be applied in order to automatically and continuously reduce the resulting play. For these purposes are between the respective support element 8 and with the diaphragm spring 4 in contact standing component 9 or 13 each have a centrifugal force, substantially radially displaceable compensating element 11 is provided, the formation of which is shown in more detail in FIGS 5 is shown in an enlarged view.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine der möglichen Ausführungsformen. Im Kupplungsgehäuse 2 ist das Stützelement 8 in Form eines Nietbolzens festFig. 3 shows one of the possible embodiments. In the clutch housing 2, the support element 8 is fixed in the form of a rivet bolt
verankert. In the housing 2, a bead 10 is also formed to represent the support of the diaphragm spring 4 on the housing side. On the side opposite the housing 2, the diaphragm spring 4 is supported via a wire ring 9 and the compensating element 11 on the head of the support element 8. The support element 8 here has a contact surface 15 which is inclined with respect to the perpendicular through the axis of rotation 7. In contrast, the wire ring 9 forms a further contact surface 16 which runs perpendicular to the axis of rotation 7. These two contact surfaces 15 and 16 form a gap which becomes narrower radially outward. In this gap, the compensating element 11 is arranged, which with its mating contact surfaces 17 and 18 fits exactly into this gap. The compensating element .11 is - as particularly clear from Figure 5 can be seen. <- provided with an elongated hole 19 which is formed by two parallel guide surfaces 20 'These guide surfaces 20 extend radially and the support element 8 are guided on counter-guide surfaces 21. This ensures that each of the compensating elements 11 executes an exactly radial movement when it is displaced. All compensating elements 11 are loaded radially outward by centrifugal force when the clutch rotates Λ When the clutch is engaged, the wire ring 9 and compensating element 11, viewed from the diaphragm spring 4, are stress-free, as they are supported on the bead 10. As a result, the compensating element 11 is able to move radially outward until there is no play between the support element 8 and the diaphragm spring 4.
In principle, the same embodiment is shown in FIG. 4, in which the wire ring 9 of FIG. 3 is replaced by a bead element 13,
Auch hier ist über die Führungsflächen 20 und die Gegenführungsflächen 21 dafür gesorgt, daß sich das Ausgleichselement 11 bei seiner radialen Verlagerung nicht verdrehen kann. which has a nose 14 for direct contact with the diaphragm 4 has,> In this embodiment, the support element 8 is with a Provided perpendicular to the axis of rotation 7 running contact surface 15, whereas the contact surface .16 of the bead element 13 is inclined. The compensating element 11 with its mating contact surfaces 17 fits into the gap thus created, which has a conical shape and 18 in. Here, too, is about the guide surfaces 20 and the Counter-guide surfaces 21 ensure that the compensating element 11 cannot rotate during its radial displacement.

The advantages of this construction are based on the fact that of the compensating elements 11 - even at relatively high speeds only very small, axially acting forces are exerted on the clamping of the diaphragm spring 4 Backlash adjustment achieved, on the other hand, the force hysteresis when the clutch is actuated between the engagement and disengagement process extremely low. In addition, the individual compensating elements 11 can be kept completely the same for all coupling types , whereby the effort required for the clearance compensation is extremely low. Furthermore, the separate readjustment is on given each individual support element 8 the great advantage that the Installation tolerances of the support elements 8 with regard to the clamping of the diaphragm spring 4 and the arrangement of the individual Components required axial space are completely uncritical, as each individual compensation element automatically adapts to the given Adjusts the platitudes. By choosing the angle between the Contact surfaces or »counter contact surfaces it is possible - by yourself inhibition to hold the compensating elements 11 in the position in which they are due to the centrifugal force when the Have embarked on the clutch. As a result, self-locking is automatically given in every position.
Jedes Ausgleicl element 12 weist zu diesem Zwecke wenigstens zwei Langlöcher 22 auf, die zueinander parallel verlaufen und die weiterhin parallelAnother variant is shown in FIGS. In Fig. 6 shows the section through a pressure plate 1; Fig. 7 shows the view of this pressure plate 1 from the front. On the clutch housing 2, a pressure plate 3 is attached via straps 6 in the known manner. Between clutch housing 2 and pressure plate 3 is the Memhran spring 4 with its radially inwardly pointing Arranged spring tongues * Several support elements 8 are attached in the clutch housing 2, distributed around a mean diameter. In the present case, the diaphragm spring 4 with its spring tongues 5 are on both sides to represent the tilting circle Wire rings 9 are provided. Between the inner wire ring 9 and the head of the respective support element 8, a compensating element 12 is arranged, the shape of which can be seen in particular from FIG. 7 is. The compensating element 12 has the shape of a circular ring section which is attached to at least two adjacent 'Support elements 8 is guided in the radial direction. Every compensation For this purpose element 12 has at least two elongated holes 22 which run parallel to one another and which continue to be parallel
Ausgleichselemente 12 eine rein radiale Ausgleichsbewegung ausführen» run to a line 23 passing through the center of gravity 24 of the compensating element 12 and through the axis of rotation 7 of the pressure plate 1 runs «This ensures that the individual compensation elements 12 perform a purely radial compensation movement »
