Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an optical image forming apparatus such as an endoscope that is able to evenly scan the surface of an object to illuminate.
A conventional endoscope is shown in FIG. Herewith lets look at the inside of a body, for example.
The distance between the optical illumination system 2 varies in front area 1 of an endoscope is not very dependent on the object surface 5 from the visual field riccu, a uniformly illuminated field of vision can be seen obtain. In the case of FIG. 2, however, a location should be of the shape such as, for example an intestinal wall can be viewed. Here is the distance to the object surface 5 very different depending on the direction within the Field of view. From this it follows that particularly bright ones appear within the visual field and particularly dark areas. If you look at these bright areas with to the naked eye so this is not very problematic. However, one wants the object record with a camera attached to the optical viewing system 4 of the endoscope connected, so come face to face due to the narrower scope of the film that of the eye. The object to be photographed then becomes strong overlaid so that photography is not possible. You want to continue with take pictures with a television camera or with an electronic camera the problem in halation so that all viewing is impossible. In this case, a camera of the type in which one receives image information is used by forming an image of the object to be photographed with a lens or the like, taking the light intensity distribution of the image in converts an electrical signal and processes the signal. Such a camera can be connected to the optical viewing system 4 of the endoscope. the In turn, problems arise because the television camera or the electronic Camera has a tighter latitude than the film. The same problems arise with such Endoscopes, which instead of the image guidance as a COD, a solid recording device to have.
The invention is based in particular on the object of an optical To create an image forming device such as an endoscope that does not have uneven lighting is produced.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a light receiving device is created, which is able to light from an illuminated object surface include that a detector is also provided that the brightness distribution Iler object with an output signal from the Light recording device capable of detecting, and a control device is also provided to control the brightness distribution of the illuminating to be thrown onto the object surface by the illuminating device To regulate illuminating light with the output of the detector The invention is based on The drawing explained in more detail. Y in Fig. 3 dargestellten Richtung zu bewegen vermag.DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS In Figs 8 a light guide 5 is provided, the output end of which is in the rear area an optical lighting system 2 is arranged. A light source can also be seen 6, a collector lens 7 for collecting the light from the light source 6 at the entrance end the light guide 5. On a base 8, the light source S and the collector lens 7 are made. The base 8 is pivotable in the direction indicated by arrow X, furthermore in FIG the direction indicated by arrow Y in FIG. One recognizes: also a drive i3, the shaft 9 is pivoted and the base in the positions indicated by the arrows X and Y in Fig. 3 is able to move the direction shown.
An electrical signal processing device 11 controls the drive 10. An image guide 12 is arranged so that the input end is in the rear Area of the optical viewing system 4 is located. An eyepiece 15 is located behind the exit end of the image guide 12 to form the exit end image on film 14 of a camera. Rin beam splitter 15 is between eyepiece ts and film 14 arranged. an image shape lens 1) is used to split the through beam gap 15 Beam a picture on the Image recording device 17 forms. A Wire 18 carries the output of the image pickup device 17 to the electrical Signal processing device. Otherwise the positions correspond to everyone Fiber at the input end and output end not necessarily exactly one another, as in image guide 12; they can essentially correspond to one another, such as in an ordinary light guide (such a light guide is known as t'TLG " become). For example, as shown in Fig. 4, groups correspond to some of them Fibers each other. In this case the fiber groups correspond to 1 and 1 ', 2 and 2g, 5 and 3t as well as 4 and 47 each other, the respective positions of some fibers, which are contained in group 1, however, do not necessarily need to be related to the relative Positions of the fibers of group 1 coincide. Furthermore, part of the Bring some fibers contained in group 1 into groups 2 ', 5' and 4 ', or as shown in Fig. 5, some light guides may be bundled. In this Trap, each of the groups 1, 2 9 is a light guide. Furthermore, the light receiving device 17 somehow designed so that they reflect the unevenness of the brightness of the Field of view image captured by the endoscope. For example, as shown in Fig. 6, the brightness can be measured by means of an endoscope field of view 20 that is broken down into four parts by using four SPD 19 (= silicon photo diouen). A solid state pick-up device), e.g. A CCD - see Fig. 7. The light receiving device 17 can also be arranged inside the camera instead of in the endoscope. Important is, that such an element is provided, through which the field of view 2G in two or more parts are disassembled and the brightness of each part is measured independently will. The image of the output end of the image guide 12 takes place on the image pickup device 17 cannot be mapped perfectly; even if the picture is more or less blurred is, then the nomenclature of the brightness can still be grasped.
For example, the optical image forming apparatus according to the invention is The front area 1 of the endoscope is designed and located in the above manner in such a position, in which the irregularity of the brightness according to 2, the image of the output end of the image guide 12 becomes mapped on the image pickup device 17 and the information silver the inequality the brightness is indicated by line 18 of the electrical signal processing device 11 fed in. Since the electrical signal processing device 11 has this information analyzed and the drive 10 feeds a control signal, base 8 by means of the Drive 10 pivoted.
As a result, the position of the light collecting point P varies by means of the collector lens 7 of the light emitted by the lighting device 6 on the Entrance area of the light guide 5. The position of the light collection point changes P on the input end face of the light guide 5 due to the last described In principle, the distribution of the from the optical lighting system also changes 2 emitted light. Becomes the base 8 in the direction of eliminating the unevenness The brightness of the endoscope is pivoted, so the non-uniformity of the brightness of the endoscope eliminated, and a usable picture is obtained. instead of using the drive 1C the base 8 can also be pivoted by hand.
It is thus a matter of the principle that when there is a change the position of the light collection point P and the input end face of the light guide 5 the distribution of the light emitted from the optical lighting system 2 varies.
This principle will be explained in more detail below. How to get off 8, it is assumed that the interior of the light guide is divided into three areas A, 3 and C, which are the same at the input and output ends, respectively.
In general, it has light parallel to the axis of the light guide rays emitted by c.ler light guide have the maximum intensity and become "main light "or" Haunt Ray ". The main lights emanating from these three areas A, 3 and C are emitted by the illumination optical system 2 (in this case a concave lens) refracted, so that from this rays a, b and c arise, which are different from one another in the direction of propagation and accordingly illuminate different areas of the field of view of the endoscope. Is located the light collection point P on the entrance end face of the area B, as shown in Fig. 8, light b is so strong that the central area of the field of view becomes bright. The light collection point P is on the input end surface of the area A, the light a becomes so strong that the upper area of the field of view becomes bright. If the light collection point P is on the entrance end face of area C, so light C becomes so strong that the lower part of the field of view becomes bright. the Distribution of the light emitted by the optical lighting system 2 varies Thus, if the light collection point P has an extension, so will the light still enter areas B and C even if the light focal point is on the input end face of the area A.
Incidentally, it is with the electrical signal processing device ll the corresponding relation of the entrance end and the exit end of the light guide 5 known, a signal of moving base 8 in one of the non-uniform Brightness reduced direction transmitted to the drive 10 Is the corresponding Relation not known (or known) and if base 8 is moved more or less, - whether the non-uniform brightness decreases or increases and as a result is recorded by a computer and the non-uniform brightness is reduced - so a signal is transmitted to move the base 8 in that decreasing direction. However, if the non-uniform brightness is increased instead, then becomes transmit a signal to move the base 8 in the reverse direction.
Some other embodiments of lighting devices are covered below. Fig. 9 shows an embodiment in which the base 8, to which the light source and collector lens 7 are attached, parallel to the input end face the light guide is moved to change the position of the light collection point P. Fig. 10 shows an embodiment in which only collector lens 7 is parallel to the input end face the light guide 5 is shifted to the position of the light collection point P to change. In addition, the collector lens 7 and the light source 6 can be parallel to one another to be moved; however, light source 6 and collector lens 7 can also be independent be moved from each other to change the position of the light collection point P. Fig. 11 shows an embodiment with a thick glass plate 22 between the collector lens 7 and the input end face of the Lichtriihrung 5 arranged and with respect to the optical Axis O is inclined to move the light collection point P. Is in this case the glass plate 22 made of heat ray absorbing glass is obtained the effect of controlling the temperature rise of the input end face of the Light guide 5. Fig. 12 shows an embodiment in which light source 6 and Collector lens 7 are stationary, and the ring end of the light guide 5 is moved. Fig. 15 shows an embodiment in which a light source 25 extends one another Illumination points (filament) is used. Here is the image of the point of illumination uniformly shown on the input end face of the light guide 5 and means a diaphragm 24, is inserted between the input end face and the collector lens 7 is partially aD-cut to change the light distribution. In this case aperture 24 can be arranged between light source 25 and collector lens 7; it but two or more diaphragms 24 can also be used, as indicated by dash-dotted lines Lines is illustrated.
Fig. 14 zeigt eine weitere Äusführungsform einer Lichtführung 25. Here, those fibers that are located at the entrance end on the circumference are at the exit end in the central area. When used in accordance with FIG. 15, the central area of the field of view can be made bright, or the scope of the field of view can be made bright by changing the position of the light collection point P, FIG. 16 shows a further embodiment of a lighting device.
The light guide 25 is used here.
