Das eiserne Plättchen α, das gleiche wie im Patent 303767, ist mit einem kreisförmigen Loch b und einer schlitzartigen Verlängerungsnut c versehen. Diese dienen dem Zweck der Verbindung des Pfahles h mit dem Querholz g. Das Plättchen d ist in diesem Falle aus einem Stück mit einem längeren schmalen Kopf ausgebildet und hat an letzterem anschließend einen Absatz, der in dem kreisförmigen Loch b des Plättchens α gedreht wird. Schlitz c dient, wie bereits bekannt, zum Festhalten des Querholzes g in der wagerechten Lage. Die nagelartige Verlängerung an dem Absatz des Plättchens d wird durch das Querholz geschlagen und die herausstehende Spitze an der anderen Seite nach Auflegen eines Ringes vernietet. Die ganze Verbindung von Stamm und Querholz besteht also in diesem Falle aus nur zwei Stücken, während jene nach dem erteilten Patent 303767 vier Teile erfordert.
