Description
The procedure is that you have the "urine with the final liquors containing magnesium chloride from the potash factories are heated, forming ammonium salts form. In order to achieve this purpose, it is sufficient to use such amounts of final caustic solutions to use that on 1 molecule of urea ι Molecule of chloromagnesium is present (see the conversion equation in the patent 31.3271). The present method now consists in the fact that one larger quantities the final liquor used as. corresponds to the molecular ratio of chlorine magnesium and urea, namely SO 'much that, apart from the described action of chloromageesium on urea, still sufficient Chloromagnesium 'is present around, with some of the chlorammonium formed or the double salt with the entire ammonium salt
MgCl2 + NH4Cl + 6H2OMgCl 2 + NH 4 Cl + 6H 2 O
zu bilden. .to build. .
.After 1 further evaporation without difficulty, since the solubility of the double salt (1: 6) is significantly lower than that of the constituents. When you have used so much magnesium chloride that the whole amount of magnesium chloride has been converted into the double salt, you can drain the remaining solution into public watercourses without damage, since it no longer contains any significant amount of chlorine If there is an excess of chlorammonium, the solution can be processed with new amounts of urine. .
Any excess of chlorine magnesia over that required for the formation of the double salt required amount remains in the mother liquor.
The additional consumption of final liquor resulting from the present process is for the potash factories are advantageous, since the latter mainly depends on the final liquor to render harmless and to recycle.
The execution of the procedure. can be done in the following ways.
Nachdem die Salmiakbildung entsprechend dem Hauptpatent nach der GleichungAfter the ammonia formation according to the main patent according to the equation
CON2 H4 + Mg CL + 2 H2 O
== CO2 + 2 NH4 Cl + Mg Ο-CON 2 H 4 + Mg CL + 2 H 2 O
== CO 2 + 2 NH 4 Cl + Mg Ο-
eingetreten ist, setzt man weiter Endlauge hinzu, so diaß auf 1 Molekül Ammoniumchlorid, welches man in das Doppelsalz verwandeln will, ι Molekül Magnesiumchloridhas occurred, one further adds final liquor, so that for 1 molecule of ammonium chloride, which one wants to transform into the double salt, ι molecule of magnesium chloride
kommt. Hierauf dampft man bis zum Ausscheiden decomes. Then you steam until you drop out
ein und läßt dieses auskristallisieren.
Die feste versandfähige Masseand lets this crystallize out.
The solid shippable mass
'MgCl2 + NH4Cl + 6H2O'MgCl 2 + NH 4 Cl + 6H 2 O
enthält gegen 6 Prozent Ammoniak, welches ίο als solches oder in Form von Verbindungen leicht daraus zu gewinnen ist, zweckmäßig in der Weise, daß man das Doppelsalz den Gaswässern, welche allgemein auf Ammoniak oder Ammoniumverbindungen verarbeitet werden sollen und oft so schwach sind, daß sie vorcontains about 6 percent ammonia, which ίο as such or in the form of compounds can easily be obtained from it, expediently in such a way that the double salt is added to the gas waters, which are generally to be processed on ammonia or ammonium compounds and are often so weak that they are before
einer Versendung angereichert werden müssen, zusetzt und mit diesen zusammen verarbeitet. a dispatch must be enriched, added and processed together with them.
