Without any significant cross-sectional constriction, the flue gases are guided around the actual burner handle (7) through a hollow suction bracket (10), which is preferably designed to be pivotable about the longitudinal axis of the burner handle (7), and then enter a channel of the hose assembly or a separate smoke evacuation hose.
Description
schweißbrenner mit Rauchgasabsaugeinrichtung gemäß Anspruch 1.Welding torch with smoke evacuation device according to claim 1.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are described in the subclaims.
The smoke evacuation device consists of a suction nozzle having suction openings, which is located on the The end of an outer tube concentrically surrounding the burner neck is pushed onto this. The smoke evacuation nozzle is designed as a self-tightening, displaceable nozzle and points in the to the outer tube Slid-on part in the longitudinal direction of expansion slots. The displaceability of the suction nozzle on the cylindrical Outer tube has the advantage that the performance of the device at different welding positions and Positions of the burner can be adjusted. Depending on how far the smoke evacuation nozzle is on the Outer pipe is pushed on, the smoke gases are sucked out of the immediate vicinity of the welding point.
The outer tube coaxially surrounding the torch neck, with a larger diameter than the torch neck, forms a suction channel that extends as far as the torch handle. The diameter of the outer tube is chosen so that there is a sufficient cross section of the suction channel. One of the core problems posed by the ; The present invention is achieved in the formation of the suction channel in the area of the welding torch handle. In the embodiment according to the invention, the smoke gas suction duct opens into a hollow suction bracket at the front end of the burner handle without any significant cross-sectional constriction. which runs along the torch handle at a distance from it and is connected to the hose package at the other end of the torch handle. The hollow suction bracket is bent into a U-shape and has a cross section which essentially corresponds to the cross section of the suction channel in the area of the torch neck. It is designed to be pivotable about the torch handle. In order to attach this hollow suction bracket to the outer tube or the hose package and to allow gas to pass through, a hollow cylindrical receiving part is arranged at both ends of the torch handle, which partially extends into the torch handle and is clamped between the handle shells. For better retention, the hollow cylindrical receiving part has recesses or a groove in this area. engage in the matching pin or ring-shaped projections on the handle shells. The outer tube adjoins this receiving part on the front of the torch handle. At the rear end of the torch handle, the hose package connects to this receiving part. The receiving parts are designed to receive the hollow suction bracket and are enclosed by the respective end of the suction bracket. To allow the flue gas passage without cross-sectional constriction to '■, the two hollow-cylindrical receiving portions each comprise a plurality of openings. which open into the interior of the hollow suction bracket.
The Absaugbügel has at its two ends respectively on circular openings for the Aufnahmetei- e Ie. The receiving parts for their part each have a groove on the outside at both ends. into which the walls engage at the circular openings. The groove is so wide and smooth that it can also accommodate sealing material. In another embodiment, the hollow / cylindrical Aiifnahmcteil is formed in the area of the suction bracket without a groove and the wall of the suction bracket at the circular openings is so far that a groove can be made for receiving the sealing material. An O-ring is preferably used to seal each made of suitable materials •. However, other forms of seals made of appropriately resistant materials can also be used, for example felt seals.
The hollow suction bracket is through this'; Attachment to the receiving part can be swiveled around the burner handle. The cross-section of the hollow suction bracket is preferably rectangular or approximately rectangular and is, for example, 450 mm 3 with a cross-section that is as constant as possible. It is designed in such a way that corners and edges in which dust can settle are avoided as far as possible. The hose package connects to the rear hollow-cylindrical receiving part and has the suction duct for the smoke gases on the outside coaxially. This coaxial flue gas guide is particularly useful, but in principle it is also possible to provide a separate suction tube for the flue gas in addition to the hose package.
An advantage of the structural design according to the invention is that an external insulation of the Hollow suction bracket is not required because it is a sufficient distance from the actual grip area of the torch handle. It also acts as hand protection against direct radiation from the welding point. The rotatability ensures that in difficult spatial conditions at the welding point the hollow suction bracket does not correctly align the welding torch at the welding point with special needs.
The outer tube of the welding torch is preferably made of copper or steel, but it can other suitable metals or metal alloys can also be used. The smoke evacuation nozzle is off made of corrosion-resistant metal. The hollow suction bracket and the receiving parts exist made of heat-resistant plastics or metals such as steel. Aluminum alloys and the like.
The inventive structural training for a device for sucking off flue gas in The area of the gas-shielded welding torch is suitable for conventional gas-shielded welding torches with a melting point Electrode, as described, for example, in German patent application 25 45 679. Particularly This embodiment of the smoke evacuation device is suitable for water-cooled inert gas welding torches, because these burners do not have sufficient space inside the burner handle for the flue gas duct exhibit.
For a better understanding, the invention will now be described with reference to the drawings.

The intermediate 6 / between the burner neck 2 and the outer tube 5 serves as a smoke evacuation duct 6, which connects to the smoke evacuation nozzle I provided with openings. Between the outer tube 5 and the 'burner grill' 7 or the hose 9 and the burner handle 7, a hollow / ylindrischcs receiving part 11 is arranged at both ends of the burner handle, which is clamped in the handle shells 8 and coaxially the burner neck 2 or the Surrounds the interior of the hose package m 9. The hollow cylindrical receiving part 11 has openings 12 which allow the passage of the smoke gases into the hollow suction bracket 10 surrounding the receiving parts or from the suction bracket 10 into the hose package 9. In the area of the circular openings for the receiving part 11, the wall of the suction bracket 10 is reinforced and in the direction of the axis there are grooves 13 in which seals 14 are arranged. In the part of the receiving part 11, which is of the handle shells 8 umschlos- _>(> sen, recesses or grooves are provided in which engage corresponding pins or protruding rings of the handles 8, to ensure a tight fit. The hollow Absaugbügel 10 runs a short distance at right angles to the longitudinal axis> -, of the burner, in order to bring about a sufficient distance from the burner handle 7 for the bracket it can be seen that the transition from t0 flue gas channel 6 through the receiving part 11 extends substantially in the interior of the Absaugbügels 10 without cross-sectional constriction. Similarly, the other end of Absaugbügels 10 is formed and serves for the passage of the flue gases in a correspond r, hurrying Absaiigkanal within the .Sschlauchpackets 9. On this side, the receiving part II is longer and extends because up to due to the linden of the suction bracket 10, that on the side of the hose package a connector for receiving the coaxial Rauchgasabl'ührschlauehes is formed. The seals 14, which are located in the grooves 1.3, are shown in FIG. 1 as O-ring seals.
