Um den von diesem Gerät erzeugten Feuchtnebel gezielt auf die richtigen Stellen einer Offset-Druckmaschinc aufbringen zu können, wird eine Schlauchverbindung mit einer Verteilerleiste eingesetzt. In überraschender Weise pflanzt sich der Feuchtnebel auch über eine längere Schlauchverbindung (z.B. 2 m) fort und tritt an einer mit Düsen versehenen Verteilerleiste aus, die sich über die gesamte Plattenbreite einer Offset-Druckmaschine erstreckt.
