Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Hieraus resultiert eine überaus ungünstige Ausnutzung der von Wasser bedeckten Erdflächen für die Fischzucht, da auf die Flächeneinheit berechnetWhen fertilizing ponds with organic manure, namely manure, is the observation has been made that only very weak fertilization is permitted, if the fish living in the ponds should not die. This results an extremely unfavorable use of the water-covered land for fish farming, because calculated on the unit of area
Das Wasser blieb hierbei in Ruhe.ίο only a small fraction in the form of fish the nutrients can be obtained, which are obtained through arable farming. This creates the problem of fertilizing the ponds in a more effective way, to increase fish production by applying more abundant dung masses. It has been found that this is the purpose it can be achieved that one organisehen those used to fertilize the ponds Subjects manure substances to a pretreatment, which robs them of the property of removing oxygen from the water, and in the The opposite leads to the oxygen content of the water by introducing the pretreated It may even be possible to increase the fertilizer. The treatment leading to this result of organic manure material consists in "treating the manure material with waste nitrating acid which acid from a chemical point of view is essential as a mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric acid is to be addressed. Manure, which on this Has been treated wisely no longer possesses the tendency when placed in water will remove oxygen from the water. On the contrary, it has been observed that the content of gaseous oxygen in the water is normally from 5 to 6 ecm per liter rose to up to 9 ecm per liter. As a result of this transformation of the natural Fertilizer made it possible to keep fish alive permanently in water, for example to about 100 liters of about 250 g of treated concentrated cow dung were added. the The cow manure was treated in such a way that 5 kg manure, which in Water was stirred, 300 g of waste nitrating acid were added and the mixture was left to stand for some time. These Fertilizer liquid was then neutralized with about 1000 g of lime and then added to the water added to the amount given above, in which fish were left for several days without that they lost their freshness of life. The water remained at rest during this.
The essential point in the treatment of organic manure materials as described appears the nitration caused by the content of nitric acid in the mixed acid. It Therefore, the treatment with the mixed acid can under certain circumstances also be replaced by one be replaced with nitric acid alone.
The fertilizer obtained by the above method is not only well suited for fertilizing ponds, but also for fertilizing fields, especially because of its high nitrogen content.
Claims (2)
ι. Patent-to sayings:
ι. Process for the production of a fertilizer from organic waste materials (stable manure, waste products, etc.), characterized in that the waste materials are treated with nitric acid or a mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric acid (nitration waste acid) and, if necessary, excess acid is neutralized.
