Claims (4)
- 1. daß das Luftkissen vom Passagier eigenständig durch Befestigungsgurte (Fig. 1, 2) vor dem Becken positioniert und an der Sitzstruktur befestigt wird,
- 2. daß das Luftkissen auf Anweisung durch den Insassen über die Zündleine selbstständig aktiviert wird,
- 3. daß das Luftkissen sich innerhalb 1 bis 2 Minuten nach Aktivierung vor dem Insassen aufbläst,
- 4. daß der Vorfüllungsdruck des Luftkissens bis zur Intrusion des Insassen über mehrere Minuten nahezu konstant bleibt,
- 5. daß im Falle der Insassenvorverlagerung der Luftsackinnendruck nach Erreichen eines Grenzwertes die Innenfolie (Fig. 1, 3) selbstständig an den in der Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1) vorgesehenen Gasaustrittslöchern (Fig. 1, 5) aufreißt und das eingeschlossene Gas aus dem Luftkissen unter Abbau von kinetischer Energie entweichen kann,
- 6. daß die Innenfolie (Fig. 1, 3) und die Gaskartusche (Fig. 1, 4) nach Aktivierung ausgewechselt werden können.

- 2. daß die Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1), die Innenfolie (Fig. 1, 3) und die Gaskartusche (Fig. 1, 4) auf einer Montageplattform so zusammengebaut werden, daß die Herausführung der Zündleine der Gaskartusche (Fig. 1, 4) aus dem Luftsackinneren möglich ist,
- 3. daß die Leckage über den Öffnungen der Innenfolie (Fig. 1, 3) (z. B. Überlappungen) und der Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1) vernachlässigbar klein gehalten wird,
- 4. daß in der Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1) beidseitig Löcher zur Gasentweichung (Fig. 1, 5) vorgesehen sind,
- 5. daß im Anbindungsbereich der Montageplattform (Fig. 1, 8) eine Verstärkungslage (Fig. 1, 7) aus dem gleichen Material wie die Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1) eingearbeitet (z. B. geklebt bzw. vernäht) wird,
- 6. daß an der Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1) auf beiden Seiten je ein Befestigungsgurt (Fig. 1, 2) vorgesehen ist, der die Position des Luftsackes bezogen auf den Insassen sicherstellen soll,
- 7. daß die Außenhülle (Fig. 1, 1) eine Öffnung (Fig. 1, 9) innerhalb des Bereiches der Verstärkungslage (Fig. 1, 7) vorsieht, aus der die Zündleine der Gaskartusche (Fig. 1, 4) aus dem Inneren des Moduls herausgeführt werden kann,
- 8. daß das Modul.

- 3. daß die Folie (z. B. aus Polyamid) eine Grundfestigkeit aufweist, die dem eingestellten Anfangsinnendruck inclusive 2facher Sicherheit (z. B. Anfangsinnendruck = 0,25 bar → Reißfestigkeit der Folie bis 0,5 bar sicherstellen!) Stand hält,
- 4. daß die Folie bei einem weiteren Druckanstieg infolge der Insassenintrusion in den Bereichen der Gasaustrittsöffnungen reißt, den sonstigen Bereich der Außenhülle aber weiter abdichtet,
- 5. daß die Innenfolie nach Gebrauch ausgetauscht, die Außenhülle aber weiter verwendet werden kann.
