Durch diese Anordnung des Rückenteils 6 in dem variablen Möbel 1 ist ein Kippmechanismus geschaffen, der das Verschwenken des Rückenteils 6 in vielfältige Positionen ermöglicht, wobei zwei dieser Positionen in Figur 8 gezeigt sind. Das Gestänge 21, das drehbar an dem Ende zumindest einer Strebe 20 angeordnet ist, ermöglicht dabei durch eine teleskopartige Bewegung bezüglich der Gasfeder 22 eine Unterstützung oder Auslösung der Bewegung des Rückenteils 6 in eine gewünschten Position über die Gasfeder 22. Um eine ebene Liegefläche beim Verschwenken des Abstützteils 6 in eine Liegeposition zu erreichen, ist bei 26 ein Polsterkeil 24 schwenkbar, vorzugsweise über ein Stoffscharnier, an dem Polster 23 bzw. am Abstützteil 6 angelenkt. Dieser Polsterkeil 24 wird in der Liegeposition des Abstützteils 6 in entgegengesetzter Richtung zur Schwenkrichtung des Abstützteils 6 verschwenkt, so daß es in der Aussparung 25 zu liegen kommt. Möbel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abstützteile in der Form von Seiten- (5, 5'), Rücken- (6, 6'), Kopf (11, 11') oder Fußteilen (12, 12') vorzugsweise als rechteckförmige Tafeln oder Platten ausgebildet sind, deren Schmalseite entweder eine geradlinige oder eine gebogene Querschnittsfläche aufweisen, wobei an den Abstützteilen eine Polsterung vorgesehen sein kann. 12. Möbel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die gebogenen Abstützteile an den längeren Seitenflächen (13, 13') des Grundgestells (2) derart angeordnet sind, daß sie auf der Rückseite als Kopfteil (11, 11') mit der Wölbung nach oben und/ oder auf der Vorderseite als Fußteil (12, 12') mit der Wölbung nach unten gerichtet sind. 15. Möbel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die gebogenen Abstützteile an den längeren Seitenflächen (13, 13') des Grundgestells (2) derart in die Stecknuten (10, 10') gesteckt sind, daß sie sowohl auf der Rückseite als Kopfteil (11, 11') als auch auf der Vorderseite als Fußteil (12, 12') mit der Wölbung nach oben gerichtet sind. 16.
