Hier geht es um die Unterbringung der Beilagen (Booklet, Titelblatt, . . . ) betreffende Ergänzungen zur "Slim-Box" .This is about the placement of supplements (booklet, title page, . . . ) relating to additions to the "Slim Box".

Bei der "Slim-Box" gemäß der OS DE 198 44 032 Al werden Gewicht_und_DJkke_hajbiert gegenüber der marktbeherrschenden "Jewel Box" . Insbesondere durch den Einsatz einer besonderen Zentrajhqjterung (.Yüv die CD; s. Bild 1) direkt am Boden der Box , bei der die federnden_Laschen ganzjnnerhajb des zentralen Lochs der CD angeordnet sind und tangential verlaufen, angebracht außen an einem zentralen Ring, Zylinder o.a. ; und bei geschlossenem Deckel von Zapfen an diesem arretiert werden, so daß die CD fixiert ist . Ferner reicht diese Halterung vom Boden bis zum Deckel und stützt so diesen ab .The " Slim-Box " according to OS DE 198 44 032 A1 has a lower weight and lower density than the market-dominating "Jewel Box". Um in dieser Box die Beilagen unterzubringen sind noch einige Konstruktionsdetails nötig ° Zunächst bedarf es zum Halten der Beilagen im Deckel an den Rändern einiger " Vorsprünge" , wie sie im Prinzip von der herkömmlichen Box bekannt sind . Hier bringt man sie "an den Zähnen" an (s. Bild Iu, 2) ; an den beiden Seiten des Deckels, die senkrecht zu seiner Drehachse verlaufen ; etwa Je zwei! Einer auf der Seite von der CD-Mitte, auf der auch die Deckelachse ist, einer auf der achsfernen Seite . Und in der Gegenseite im Boden-Rand sind dafür passende Aussparungen in der Innenwand (Bild 1) . Um zu verhindern, daß das Booklet so dicht an die Zähne rutscht, daß es zwischen Deckel und Innenwand des Boden-Randes klemmen kann , sind im Deckel an einigen Zähnen geeignete Abstandhalter vorgesehen ; ca. 0,8mm dick ; etwa zwei auf jeder der drei verzahnten Seiten ; und Aussparungen für sie im Boden-Rand . Bild 2 zeigt als Beispiel Vorsprung und Abstandhalter an einem Zahn . Für das Entnehmen der Beilagen aus dem Deckel hat der Rand des Deckels, der seiner Achse gegenüberliegt, eine Aussparung (ähnlich den Aussparungen zum Greifen der CD), wo man das Booklet greifen kann , s. Bild 1 (das von der Jewel Box gewohnte "seitliche Rausziehen" ist hier nicht möglich, weil dem der verzahnte Rand des Deckels und die durch die Löcher der Beilagen gehenden Teile der Zentralhalterung im Weg stehen) .In order to accommodate the inserts in this box, a few construction details are necessary . To remove the inserts from the lid, the edge of the lid opposite its axis has a recess (similar to the recesses for gripping the CD) where you can grab the booklet, see image 1 (the "sideways pull out" that is usual with the jewel box is not possible here because the toothed edge of the lid and the parts of the central holder that go through the holes for the inserts get in the way).

Das Entnehmen geht damit einfach folgendermaßen (die Beschreibung ist komplizierter als die Ausführung): Man lege die Box normal vor sich auf den Tisch (geschlossen, Deckel nach oben) und öffne den Deckel !eicht (ca. 20°) . Jetzt hängt das Booklet wegen der Schwerkraft leicht durch , so daß man bei besagter Aussparung mit der Daumenspitze zwischen Deckel und Booklet kommt und durch leichtes Niederdrücken die Wölbung des Booklets verstärken kann , so daß es unter den beiden achsfernen Vorsprüngen hervorrutscht und sich in seiner Mitte über die Zapfen am Deckel abhebt . Damit ist es soweit frei₅ daß man es unter den beiden achsnahen Vorsprüngen (wo es sich nicht so leicht wölbtj weil der "Buchrücken" nahe ist) wie gewohnt seitlich hervorziehen kann. In der Ausführung für zwej CD's (s.o.) ist der Platz für's Booklet knapp (in der Dicke): 0,4mm, was etwa 8 Seiten entspricht . Dagegen gibt es folgende Abhilfe-nöglichkeiten (die man auch kombinieren kann) :In the version for two CDs (see above) there is not enough space for the booklet (thickness): 0.4mm, which corresponds to about 8 pages. a) Man verteilt den "Gesamtplatz" von 1,2mm (=5,2 -2*1,2 (CD's) -2*0,8 (Deckel u. Boden)) (=3*0,4 (Zwischenräume)) ungjeichmäsicj auf die drei Zwischenräume : Den mittleren (zwischen den beiden CD's) verkleinert man wohl bes — ser nicht , weil damit die die CD's haltenden Vorsprünge der Halteelemente der Zentralhalterungen arg klein würden . Aber den zwischen unterer CD und Boden kann man auf O₅ 2mm verkleinern, indem man die unteren Anschläge an den Halteelementen wegläßt und statt dessen auf dem Boden einen 0,2mm hohen Steg rund um die Halterung vorsieht ; und etwas weiter außen, wo die CD's meist einen O,3mm-Steg haben, eine kreisförmige Vertiefung, in der der Steg der CD Platz hat . -» 0,6mm Platz für's Booklet .a) The "total space" of 1.2mm (=5.2 -2*1.2 (CDs) -2*0.8 (lid and base)) (=3*0.4 (gaps)) is distributed unevenly between the three gaps: The middle one (between the two CDs) is probably better not to be made smaller, because that would make the projections of the holding elements of the central brackets that hold the CDs very small.
