Im allgemeinen benutzt man zur Befestigung des Tischbeins an der Tischplatte ein Stahlblech, daß zur Erhöhung seiner Steifigkeit in der Mitte in becherartige Form gepreßt ist. Im Mittelteil des Bechers befindet sich ein Innengewinde.
