Abstract

The power supply includes a power source which is provided in a printing cylinder (1). The printing cylinder has a pair of registration pins (2.1,2.2) that are used to determine the correct position for locating the printing plate. The pins are formed as switch elements and are connected to a processing unit (4). The unit connects via a push button switch (5) that is activated at a specific position and is used to isolate a built in power supply (3), e.g. battery.
