Schaltungsanordnung für ein SicherheitslichtgitterCircuit arrangement for a safety light grid
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltungsanordnung für ein Sicherheitslichtgitter nach dem Oberbegriff des AnspruchsThe invention relates to a circuit arrangement for a safety light grid according to the preamble of claim
They are used to generate a signal in the event of an unwanted intervention in the working area of a machine, which is used to stop the machine. Several systems are known for light grids. In a system such as that known from DE 40 33 234 Al, each optical channel has a

Dadurch werden Störungen in jedem Kanal erkannt.its own light source, e.g. in the form of a light-emitting diode, and its own light receiver. These photoelectric components are controlled one after the other using a switching device in a multiplexing process. The photoelectric components are connected in a matrix to the outputs of decoders, which interact with independent microprocessors that form a control device. These continuously monitor each other. This means that interferences in each channel are detected.
The disadvantage of this arrangement is that if one channel fails, the entire system goes into safety mode. This means that the work area is no longer accessible and production downtime occurs.
The invention is based on the object of constructing the system in such a way that if a channel fails, the system does not go into the safety state but that the failure is merely detected.
According to the invention, this is achieved according to the features of claim 1.
In a circuit arrangement for a safety light grid with several channels, each channel having a light transmitter and a light receiver, and using two microcontrollers, according to the invention each transmitter has two transmitting components and each receiver has two receiving components, each of these two components of the transmitter or receiver being connected to a different microcontroller.
DS109 Seite 3DS109 Page 3
Using this circuit arrangement, the transmitting and receiving components are monitored independently of one another. One microcontroller is connected to a first transmitting component and a first receiving component, while the other microcontroller is connected to the second transmitting component and the second receiving component. Since each component of each channel is assigned to a different microcontroller, monitoring is carried out at a high level of safety. However, there is no transition to the safety state. If the failure of a component is detected during monitoring, this error can be detected by the microcontroller so that it can then be eliminated.
A control stage is arranged between each transmitting component and the respective microcontroller, and an amplifier is arranged between each receiving component and the respective microcontroller. LEDs are preferably provided as transmitting components and photodiodes as receiving components.
The transmitters and receivers are connected to the microcontrollers via multiplex modules so that all channels can be queried one after the other.
Es zeigen:The invention will be explained in an embodiment using circuit diagrams. They show:

Fig. 3 das Blockschaltbild der Empfängerseite eines Lichtgitters.Fig. 3 shows the block diagram of the receiver side of a light grid.
Each channel has two transmitting components 1, 2, each of which is assigned a control stage 3, 4. Furthermore, two receiving components 5, 6 with downstream amplifiers 7, 8 are provided. The transmitting component 1 is assigned to the receiving component 5 and the transmitting component 2 is assigned to the receiving component 6. Each group has two microcontrollers 9, 10, each of which is assigned an output stage 11, 12 with outputs 13 and 14 respectively.
The first microcontroller 9 is connected to the transmitting component 1 via the control stage 3, and the receiving component 5 is also connected to the microcontroller 9 via the amplifier 7. Furthermore, the second microcontroller 10 is connected to the transmitting component 2 via the control stage 4, and the receiving component 6 is also connected to the microcontroller 10 via the amplifier 8. The microcontroller 9 is also connected to the input of the output stage 11 and to the output 14 of the output stage 12. The microcontroller 10 is connected to the input of the output stage 12 and to the output 13 of the output stage 11.
Weiterhin überwachen sich die dargestellten zwei Kanäle mit den MikroControllern 9, 10Using this circuit, each transmitter and each receiver is monitored by two different microcontrollers, i.e. independent monitoring takes place. Furthermore, the two channels shown monitor each other with the microcontrollers 9, 10

If identical signals are present at outputs 13, 14, the light grid group is working error-free. If different signals occur there, there is an error that is detected by the microcontroller.
10 verbunden. The interconnection of several transmission channels is shown in Fig. 2. The light grid has n transmission channels, whereby the first transmission component 1 of each channel is connected to a first multiplex module 15 via the control stage 3 and the second transmission component 2 of each channel is connected to a second multiplex module 16 via the control stage 4. The multiplex modules 15, 16 are in turn connected to the microcontrollers 9 and 10, respectively.
Fig. 3 shows the interconnection of several receiving channels. The light grid has the same number of receiving channels as transmitting channels. The first receiving component 5 of each channel is connected to the multiplex module 15 via the amplifier 7 and the second receiving component 6 of each channel is connected to the multiplex module 16 via the amplifier 8.
The multiplex modules are used to query the &eegr; channels one after the other. If one branch of a channel, e.g. the branch with the transmitting component 1 and the receiving component 5, fails, the channel continues to run via the branch with the transmitting component 2 and the receiving component 6. However, the microcomputer sends a message that a branch has failed so that repairs can be carried out.
