Weiterhin bieten die bekannten Profilsysteme nur sehr eingeschränkt die Möglichkeit, eventuelle Maß- oder Winkelfehler der zu verkleidenden Wände oder Decken unauffällig auszugleichen, da relative Verschiebungen zwischen den Verkleidungsplatten nur in einem sehr geringen Maße möglich sind, ohne die Halterung der Verkleidungsplatten mittels der Profile zu beeinträchtigen. Schließlich ist noch als wesentlicher Nachteil anzuführen, daß bei den bekannten Profilsystemen ein bedarfsweises Auswechseln einer beliebigen einzelnen Verkleidungsplatte nach Fertigstellung der gesamten Wand- oder Deckenverkleidung nicht möglich ist. Vielmehr muß von einer Seite der Wand oder Decke beginnend eine Verkleidungsplatte nach der anderen abgebaut werden, bis man zu der eigentlich auszuwechselnden Verkleidungsplatte gelangt.
