Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Brillenscharnier insbesondere mit einem Eingriffsende, welches eine gekrümmte äußere, an einem U-formigen Vorderabschnitt ausgebildete Spitze zum festen Einsetzen in eine Eingriffsnut aufweist, welche ein nach außen gekrümmtes, in einer vertikalen Vorderseite jedes Endes eines Brillengestells vorgesehenes Ende hat.
