BeschreibungDescription
The invention relates to a conveyor track for piece goods carrying means, in particular for luggage containers according to the preamble of claim 1.
A conveyor track for piece goods, particularly for loaves of bread, is already known from the German patent application GB 2 067 494 A, which has a large number of conveyor ropes running parallel and at a distance from one another for transporting the piece goods. To form a flat support surface for the piece goods, five conveyor ropes running parallel to one another and designed as round ropes are provided, each of which is guided over deflection rollers at the ends of the conveyor track sections. The upper strands of the endless conveyor ropes are guided in grooves running in the conveying direction, which are adapted to the cross-section of the conveyor ropes and surround the conveyor rope from below in an angle range of between 210° and 240°. This guidance of the conveyor ropes makes it possible to create curves in addition to straight conveyor tracks. To prevent the piece goods from leaving the conveyor track, guide plates are provided next to the outer conveyor ropes and running in the conveying direction.
The present invention is based on the object of creating a conveyor belt for piece goods carrying means, in particular for baggage containers, which enables the traction means to be guided with little noise and vibration.
This object is achieved in a conveyor track for piece goods carrying means, in particular for luggage containers, by the features listed in claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in subclaims 2 to 5.

According to the invention, the spaced arrangement of the upper and lower strands of the traction means of the conveyor track increases the conveying capacity of the conveyor track, since in addition to the transport on the upper strands, support means can also be transported on the lower strands. A conveyor track designed in this way proves to be particularly advantageous for the transport of luggage containers, since the luggage containers can be transported simultaneously between two locations and in opposite directions by a single conveyor track and the space required for the conveyor track is low. For the conveyance of the support means on straight sections, the conveyor track proves to be structurally particularly simple if the upper and lower strands are not continuously supported but only by support rollers arranged one behind the other and at a distance from one another in the conveying direction and which can rotate about axes aligned transversely to the conveying direction. The distance between the support rollers arranged one after the other in the conveying direction is greater than the length of the support means. In the areas between the support rollers, the traction device not only performs the pure drive function but also an additional support function for the support rollers, which saves on support rollers. By arranging at least two support rollers one behind the other in the conveying direction on a swing arm that can rotate about an axis aligned transversely to the conveying direction, it is possible to guide the traction cable with particularly low noise and without vibration.
It has proven particularly advantageous to provide only one deflection wheel at each end of the conveyor track and for each traction device, the diameter of which corresponds to the distance between the upper run and the lower run of the respective traction device. This also ensures that the required minimum bending radius can be maintained for the traction devices, for example those designed as steel cables.
Im Zusammenhang mit der speziellen Ausbildung der Tragmittel mitA saving of complex guides for the support means can be achieved by the support means having grooves on the undersides running in the conveying direction, the cross-section of which is adapted to the dimensions of the traction means, whereby the support means are supported, driven and guided by the traction means in a form-fitting manner. In connection with the special design of the support means with

For grooves, a conveyor track with only two traction elements running parallel to each other is sufficient to ensure safe conveying.
For loading and unloading the support means onto the conveyor track, feed and forward conveyors are provided, which are preferably designed as belt conveyors and via which the support means can be transferred to or removed from the traction means at an angle to the conveying direction and from above. In the area of the upper strands, it is possible to transfer the support means onto or take them from the conveyor track at the ends using double belt tracks or chain conveyors arranged as an extension of the conveyor track with the traction means.
Es zeigen:The invention is described in more detail below using an embodiment shown in drawings. They show:

Die Tragroilen 7 haben neben der stützenden Funktion für das Zugmittel 3 auch die Aufgabe, das Zugmittel 3Fig. 1 shows a side view of a conveyor track for carrying means 1 designed as containers, which are used to transport items of luggage 2, in particular in the airport area. The conveyor track essentially consists of two traction means 3, in particular designed as steel cables, which run parallel and at a distance from one another in the conveying direction F (see also Fig. 2). The traction means 3 are endless and are guided at the respective ends of the conveyor track via deflection wheels 4. The deflection wheels 4 are mounted so that they can rotate about a horizontally designed axis 21. Between the deflection wheels 4, of which only the deflection wheel 4 at one end of the conveyor track is shown in Fig. 1, the upper strands 5 and the lower strands 6 of the traction means 3 are additionally supported by support rollers 7, which are arranged one behind the other in the conveying direction F, but at a large distance from one another along the conveyor track. The distance between the support rollers 7 corresponds to several lengths of the support means 1. The support rollers 7 have in addition to the supporting function for the traction means 3, the task of the traction means 3

Two support rollers 7 arranged one behind the other in the conveying direction F are provided around axes 8 aligned transversely to the conveying direction F, each of which is mounted on a common swing arm 9. The swing arm 9 is in turn mounted on a support frame 11 around another axis, also aligned transversely to the conveying direction F. The axis for the swing arm 9 is designed here as a cross member 10 of the support frame 11. Between the support rollers 7, the support means 1 with the pieces of luggage 2 are driven by the traction means 3 and are also carried by it at the same time.
Außerdem ist jeweils parallel zu dem Obertrum 5 undFurthermore, it can be seen from Fig. 1 that the distance a between the upper run 5 and the lower run 6 is selected so that there is sufficient space for the arrangement of the support rollers 7 for supporting the upper run 5 and for the additional transport of further support means 1 with items of luggage 2 on the lower run 6 against the conveying direction F. In addition, parallel to the upper run 5 and
A guide tube 12 is provided running along the lower run 6 in order to return the support means 1 to the traction means 3 in the event of an unforeseen movement of the support means 1 transversely to the conveying direction F.
Fig. 2 shows a sectional view of Fig. 1 along the section line A-A, from which it can be seen that each support frame 11 essentially consists of two vertical stands 13 supported on the ground, which are connected to one another via horizontal crossbeams 10. These crossbeams 10 also serve to support the rockers 9, on which two support rollers 7 are mounted via axles 8. The guide tubes 12 are attached to the stands 13 on the sides facing one another and above the traction means 3.
Furthermore, it can be seen that the support rollers 7 have a circumferential groove 14 whose cross-section is adapted to the traction means 3 designed as a rope in order to be able to guide the traction means 3. The distance b between the support rollers 7 and thus between the upper strands 5 and lower strands 6 running parallel to one another is selected depending on the width of the support means 1 so that the support means 1 can be transported without tipping over.
Ferner ist ersichtlich, daß in der Unterseite 15 des als Behälter ausgebildeten Tragmittels 1 jeweils zwei in Förderrichtung F verlaufende Nuten 16 eingearbeitetIt can also be seen that two grooves 16 running in the conveying direction F are incorporated into the underside 15 of the support means 1 designed as a container.

sind, deren Kontur dem Querschnitt des Zugmittels 3 angepaßt sind, um den Reibschluß zwischen dem Zugmittel 3 und dem Tragmittel 1 zu verbessern und eine formschlüssige seitliche Führung des Tragmittels 1 zu erreichen.whose contour is adapted to the cross-section of the traction means 3 in order to improve the frictional connection between the traction means 3 and the support means 1 and to achieve a positive lateral guidance of the support means 1.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic top view of the beginning of a conveyor track, namely its upper run 5. The transfer of the support means 1 to the conveyor track takes place via a feed conveyor 17, which is designed as a double belt conveyor. The distance between the belts 18 is selected so that they can be arranged between the deflection wheels 4 at the beginning of the conveyor track. To transfer the support means 1 to the traction means 3, the feed conveyor 17 is arranged with a gradient to the conveyor track with the traction means 3, so that with increasing movement in the conveying direction F the support means 1 is lowered onto the traction means 3 and is completely taken up by them. Furthermore, it can be seen from Fig. 3 that the deflection wheels 4 are mounted on a common axle 10, which can be rotated by a drive 19.
Furthermore, Fig. 4 shows a top view of the discharge area of the support means 1 from a lower run 6. A double belt conveyor is also provided here as the forward conveyor 20, but this has several successive belts 18 when viewed in the discharge direction, which are led out of the conveyor track at an angle starting from the conveying direction F and are simultaneously raised from a level below the center of the train 3 to a higher level to accommodate the support means 1.
