Das integrierte Gurtsystem greift oben im Schulterbereich, dazwischen im Körperbereich und unterhalb des Gesäßes an. Dadurch ist gewährleistet, daß die überwiegende Körpermasse durch das Gurtsystem erfaßt wird und der Patient leicht in der Längsachse gedreht werden kann. Die Weste dient als Ergänzung zu herkömmlichen kinetischen Therapie z.B. zur Bauchlagerung in einem Spezialbett oder kann eine kostengünstige Alternative zur Lagerung in einem Spezialbett (Rotationsbetten, Sandwichbetten) darstellen.In diesem Falle kann die Lagerung mit speziellen , in verschiedenen Winkeln geschnittenen Lagerungskeilen ergänzt werden. Diese Keile werden mit Hilfe von Klettbändern zwischen Weste und Bett fixiert.
