Bekanntermaßen werden für Compaktdisketten (CD) Kassetten verwendet, deren Kassettenunterteil eine flache Vertiefung als Plattenaufnahmeeinrichtung aufweist. In der Mitte der Vertiefung ist eine in die zentrale Öffnung der CD eingreifende, gegen den Innenrand dieser Öffnung drückende Spreizhalterung vorgesehen. Die Spreizhalterung sorgt u.a. dafür, daß die Platte beim Öffnen der Kassette in der Vertiefung im Kassettenunterteil verbleibt und nicht herausfällt, was in Anbetracht der mit dem Öffnen solcher Kassetten häufig verbundenen ruckartigen Bewegungen ansonsten leicht geschehen könnte. Zum Herausnehmen der Compaktdisks aus dem Kassettenunterteil muß die Spreizhalterung zur Freigabe der Platte mit einem Finger zusammengedrückt werden, während die Kassette am Rand zur Entnahme ergriffen wird. Durch das Verbleiben der Kassette in der Vertiefung durch das das Ergreifen des Plattenrandes erschwert ist, und die Notwendigkeit zum gleichzeitigen Lösen der Spreizhalterung ist die Entnahme der Platte aus der Kassette verhältnismäßig umständlich.As is well known, cassettes are used for compact disks (CDs) whose cassette base has a flat recess as a disk holder.
