Abstract
Description
Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Method and device for
The invention relates in particular to a method for the chemosorptive separation of gaseous pollutants of halogens or hydrogen halides from exhaust gas streams with the help of undosed dusty Additives such as alumina, calcium compounds and the like, and their deposition in a downstream filtering separator and a device for carrying it through this procedure.
Methods of the type mentioned are, for example, from GB-PS 2 850 38, after which a gas flow through a vertically arranged column, in which the reacting particles are kept floating in a uniform distribution then enters a filtering separator from which the cleaned Gas flow discharged and the particles partially laden with impurities collected will.
In addition, DE-AS 22 25 686 describes a generic one Process in which the supply of the reacting particles is metered above a Venturi-like nozzle part takes place.
The procedure according to the teaching of these two patents is then problematic when changing volume tears the reacting particles in the column can no longer hover.
The invention is now based on the object of eliminating this disadvantage, specify a method by which the reaction column is properly in suspension can be kept as well as a device with which this method is advantageous is feasible.
For this purpose, it is proposed according to the invention that the cross section of the Reaction channel, which is to be arranged vertically, depending on the flow rate is regulated in the reactor so that a lower limit Gesciwindlgkelt, which is essentially due to the necessary reaction time and the sustained by the limbo The flow rate of the gas to be regulated is given, and that at 4 m / s is not undershot. For the advantageous implementation of this method it is proposed that the cross-section of the channel is suspended by at least one divided flow guide wall is deformable like a Venturi, one preferably Sliding device arranged at the height of the venturi throat and running in U-rails Glell pieces at the free ends of the attached sections of the flow air wall are provided.
Figure 1 shows in a schematic representation the essence of Reactor according to the invention: The raw gas to be cleaned flows through the raw gas inlet in the reactor 1, which consists essentially of a rectangular, vertical Channel with solid walls 2 consists. In at least one of the fixed walls 2 of the channel 1 there are openings 3 through which, directly or by means of inserted, in the Figure of lances, not shown, powdery additives metered into the gas stream can be mixed. At least one wall of the reactor has movable wall pieces 4, which by means of shifting devices 5 C5.1, 5.2 or 5.3) to the center of the duct are movable towards the cross-section narrowing. The push rods 6 of these shifters 5 can act on the connection 7 of two adjacent movable wall pieces 4, they can also be attached to the guide rails 8, in which the free ends of the movable Wall pieces can slide freely, attack. The raw gas loaded with additive flows through the discharging line 9 to the filtering separator 10, where the entrained by the raw gas Dust and the additive that reacts with the harmful gas components contained in the raw gas has to be deposited. That of dust, of additives and of the harmful gas components The clean gas that is freed is removed from the separator, which is usually filtered on the clean gas side upright fan and promoted by a likewise not shown Chimney blown into the atmosphere. The functioning of this reactor for Separation of harmful gas components from exhaust gas flows by means of added additives is the: The powdery additive substances that are produced directly by the openings 3 or by lances which are introduced into the channel through the openings 3 caught by the current and carried upwards. This movement is superimposed the falling motion in the gravity field of the earth: In order to "fall through" the particles of the The task is to bypass the additive substance by predominantly falling motion the additives in a venturi-like constriction at the point of the highest gas velocity, or seen in the direction of flow, immediately afterwards. This can only Particles whose Stokes velocity is greater than the gas velocity, im narrowest cross-section of the Venturi-like constriction against the direction of gas flow fall. Since the volume flow is now subject to fluctuations, this gas velocity changes. By adjusting the lower pair of movable wall pieces 4 with the aid of the adjusting device 5.1 the Venturi-like constriction can now be changed so that the necessary The gas does not fall below the minimum speed in this cross section. A delay in the flow above this cross section is desirable in order to reduce the flow rate To increase the contact time of the additive with the gas. The movable wall pieces 4 can be adjusted accordingly with the adjusting element 5.2. Takes If the volume flow decreases too much, the additive accumulates in this section and Ayglcmerationsvorgänge could lead to an enlargement of the grain spectrum of the additive to lead. To prevent this, the cross-section can also be reduced here. One further constriction is provided in the vicinity of the adjusting member 5.3. Because in a state of equilibrium just as many additives through the channel cross-section at the level of the adjusting member 5.3 need to be introduced through the openings 3 is another Acceleration path provided by a second venturi-like constriction; by the increase in speed achieved there favors the discharge of the additive. In the following line 9, its cross-section to increase the transport speed The additive discharged can also be reduced compared to that of the reactor promoted with the gas stream to filtering separator 10, deposited there and by means of a dust discharge device 11, shown in the figure as a discharge screw, carried out. Since, as a rule, a considerable excess of additive is used, is it economical if the additive, which has only been partially used, is renewed is added to the gas oil, with as much additive being removed from this cycle will, how is consumed after the noxious gas accumulation, and the corresponding amount of fresh additive is added.
With the specified device there is the possibility that for to optimize an effective sorption reaction factors to be considered; so can for example the best response time can be set by changing the speed, even if the exhaust gas volume flow changes. This is the case, for example, # if at not all melt-flow electrolysis furnaces are connected to the production of aluminum are.
In addition, the adjustable walls in the throat of the Device, the atomization speed can be kept constant, with the on a good, even distribution of the additives over the flow cross-section is achieved. This is important because the greatest difference in concentration is in the feed zone between the unused additives and the pollutants to be separated In the second part of the reactor, the gas velocity can be adjusted as described above be delayed so far that the reaction time necessary for the deposition is reached will. The reaction in the reactor does not need to be finished because of the residence times in the connected pipeline, in the filtering separator and in the essentially dust cake consisting of the additive on the filtering elements of the separator can be included in the consideration. The even distribution of the Additives and a sufficiently long reaction time ensure a good conversion size based on the additives, taking into account their active specific surface area is. The reactor according to the invention ensures that the additives used react well and thus an additive return can be dispensed with achievable high degree of conversion allows the gas flow with a minimal addition of additives to clean.
