Description
Im Patent ... ... (Patentanmeldung P 27 19 701.9) ist einIn the patent ... ... (patent application P 27 19 701.9) is a
Under subsequent Deposits are understood as the deposition of a sludge made up of solids, which in of the freshly prepared phosphoric acid were suspended or dissolved. This method assumes a raw phosphoric acid with a P205 content of 22 to 35% by weight and comprises the following steps: (1) At least 85% by volume of the starting acid is removed suspended solids; (2) are added to the acid obtained, based on the Weight of the P205 in the acid, 0.05 to 2.0 weight percent particulate aluminum silicate; (3) the resulting mixture is heated to dissolve the aluminum silicate and the Concentrate acid; (4) the concentrated solution is crystallized to obtain the To precipitate solids and (5) pull the protruding from the Solids essentially free liquid phosphoric acid from the precipitated solids away.
It has now been found that this method can also be carried out if you turn the aluminum silicate into a more concentrated acid with a P205 content of more than 35% by weight, namely of up to 46% by weight of P205. The inventive The process accordingly comprises the pre-concentration of the acid before step (2) for a P205 level in this range.
This method has advantages in terms of storage capacity, because the more concentrated acid has a lower P 205 with the same weight Volume. It is surprising that the process with this concentration stage can be carried out successfully. In the process of the main application, the acid is in step (3) after the addition of the perlite usually to a P205 content of 42 up to 52% by weight concentrated.
In view of this, one should have assumed that the concentration above 35 wt.% prior to the addition of the perlite would not give good results.
The method of the invention is most convenient in that way carried out that the raw phosphoric acid used as the starting material is initially clarifies to remove at least 85% of the suspended solids (step (1)), then carries out the pre-concentration described above, then the aluminum silicate is added (step (2)) and then with the steps listed above (3) to (5) continues. Alternatively, pre-concentration can be carried out before clarification that is, before stage (1). The aluminum silicate is then after the clarification added, which in turn are followed by steps (3) to (5).
In the step (3), the acid is at a higher concentration than the usual phosphoric acid produced in the wet process, namely with 36 to 46 wt P205, heated to dissolve the aluminum silicate. This stage can also be used as a further Concentration level must be considered, since water increases the P205 content, is advantageously lost to 42 to 52% by weight of P205. Accordingly, the acid with 46% P 205 to 47 to 52% P205 and acid with 36% P205 to 42 to 52 z P205 concentrated. It is assumed that each concentration decreases the P 205 content by at least 1%, although this is not a requirement of the invention.
The other preferred features of the method according to the invention are, apart from the pre-concentration stage, described in the main application. The most important measures are listed below. By the way, also with regard to the device that can be used, reference is made to the main application.
The clarification stage is preferably carried out in such a way that that an acid essentially free of suspended solids remains, which is normally not more than 3% and preferably not more than 2% by volume of the Make up acid.
Der Al2 0 3-Gehalt des Aluminiumsilikats beträgt vorzugsweise mindestens 8 % und insbesondere mindestens 10 Gew.%.The aluminum silicate is preferably perlite, but can, for example also consist of kaolin or some material as it is as a by-product of its manufacture of sodium fluoride and is described in the main application as "aluminum silicate A" is. The Al 2 O 3 content of the aluminum silicate is preferably at least 8 % and in particular at least 10% by weight.
Materials that are actually silicates and a minor one Amount of aluminum oxide, for example diatomaceous earth or kieselguhr is not included in the term "aluminum silicate" used in the context of the invention.
The amount of the aluminum silicate is usually 0.05 to 2.0% by weight, preferably 0.2 to 1.0% by weight, based on the P2O5 content of the acid. Particularly Amounts of pearlite from 0.25 to 0.75% and in particular from 0.3 to 0.4 are advantageous Weight%.
The actual concentration stage, i.e. stage (3), leads preferably to a P205 concentration of 42 to 52% by weight. At this stage must the acid can be heated to dissolve the aluminum silicate.
The crystallization stage (4) is advantageously carried out in continuous holes Manner, wherein the product from step (3) in the form of a stream in a crystallization zone leads and the supernatant liquid acid as overflowing Draws electricity from this zone. The precipitated solids are left under the action of gravity and removes them from the bottom of the zone.
After step (5), the acid can be concentrated further, for example up to 63% by weight of P205.
The following examples illustrate the invention. Relate in them all percentages are based on weight.
Examples Phosphoric acid obtained as "Filtrate No. 1" by the wet process was clarified to remove the solids using only a polyacrylamide flocculant and no other additives were used. The clarified acid was then to 43 bis 45% P205 pre-concentrated and divided into two parts. To a part were according to the invention 0.5 e perlite, based on the P205 in the acid, is added. The other part, the served as a comparison, nothing was added. Both proportions were then up to 50 51% P205 concentrated and left overnight to precipitate the solids. The supernatant phosphoric acid was then decanted separated from the solids. The decanted phosphoric acid was further increased to 60 up to 61% P205 concentrated. All measures were carried out on a laboratory scale. The concentrations were effected by reducing the acidity Pressure heated to a boil. The results obtained are shown in tables below compiled. They show that the measure according to the invention leads to a reduction the solids concentration and a reduction in later deposits in the treated Acid leads to very low levels (essentially zero).
