Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Umwandlung einer tiefsiedenden Flüssigkeit, insbesondere unter Atmosphärendruck stehendem Erdgas oder Methan, in den gasförmigen Zustand mit gewünschtem Abgabedruck und gewünschter Abgabetemperatur, bei dem die Umwandlung der kalten, unter Druck gesetzten Flüssigkeit in den gasförmigen Zustand durch Kondensation eines Kälteträgers in einem Wärmetauscher und die Verdampfung des flüssigen Kälteträgers durch einen Wärmespender, insbesondere Meerwasser in einem Verdampfer erfolgtThe invention relates to a method for converting a low-boiling liquid, in particular under atmospheric pressure standing natural gas or methane, in the gaseous state with the desired delivery pressure and desired delivery temperature, which involves the conversion of the cold, pressurized liquid to the gaseous state through condensation of a coolant in a heat exchanger and the evaporation of the liquid coolant by a heat donor, in particular sea water is carried out in an evaporator
In such methods, it is necessary to use one under low pressure, e.g., atmospheric pressure, and one correspondingly Liquefied gas at a low temperature by increasing the pressure and supplying heat to one of the consumers to move required gaseous state.
It is known to use seawater as a heat donor to meet these requirements in a method, which in the Heat exchange with an intermediate coolant is available, which transfers the heat extracted from the seawater to the liquid Gas transmits (US-PS 29 75 607). Here the main requirement for the refrigerant is that its freezing point is lower than the inlet temperature of the liquid gas, so that on the heat transfer tubes of the heat exchanger through Since the liquid gas and the coolant have flowed, no solid constituents can crystallize out. Of the The refrigerant evaporates in the heat exchange with the heat dispenser and condenses in the heat exchange with the liquid gas. If the inlet temperature of the liquid coolant at the inlet to the evaporator is below the freezing point of the heat dispenser drops, a partial flow of the vaporous refrigerant flows through a bypass at the outlet of the evaporator in the line of the liquid refrigerant before entering said evaporator to the liquid Coolant before entering the

A pump is - in the direction of flow seen - behind the mixing point of liquid and vaporous refrigerant provided for the entire amount to promote the coolant through the evaporator. The flow of the vaporous refrigerant reduced by the partial flow - the main stream - flows first through a superheater, then through an expansion device and through a condenser, in which the expanded gaseous refrigerant uses its heat of condensation to evaporate releases the liquid gas to this. The now liquid coolant now flows into another - in Seen in the direction of flow - towards the mixing point of the liquid and vaporous refrigerant upstream pump, which the liquid coolant on something like an evaporation 5 promotes pressure and feeds it to the evaporator through the first-mentioned pump.
This means that the evaporation £ temperature of the secondary refrigerant when exchanging heat with the heat dispenser is higher than its condensation temperature when Heat exchange with the liquid gas is. The consequence of this is that the outlet temperature of the vaporized liquid Gas is always significantly lower than the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant. To the gas afterwards on To be able to heat the delivery temperature desired for the natural gas network is expensive additional equipment and Gas burner with high fuel consumption necessary. Another significant disadvantage of this known invention is the above-mentioned partial flow of the vaporous refrigerant at the outlet of the evaporator through a bypass, with which it is possible to preheat the liquid coolant slightly, but it is impossible to the evaporator parts through which the heat source flows

To protect icing, because the evaporation temperature of the coolant is not increased by this measure, so that the low temperature of the refrigerant remains in relation to the temperature of the heat dispenser.
Furthermore, methods are known in which the necessary heat supply for converting a low-boiling liquid into the gaseous state is brought about by the combustion of heating gases, with the heat transfer surfaces either being located directly in the flow of hot flue gases (brochure from Black, Sivalls & Bryson, p. 3, drawing "Heat exchanger") - a process that has a high fuel consumption and is expensive - or located in a water bath that is heated by hot flue gases using an immersion burner and the water is thereby evaporated (publication "5. International Congress and Exhibition for Liquefied Natural Gas ", Düsseldorf, August 28th - 1.1977, pp. 99-100) - a process that shows the environment nuisance steam plumes and a high fuel consumption and is prone to failure in operation. Finally, a method ff * · * m ~ h trtn Vorfihroj is also known, in which bundles of vertical plates belonging to a system, which are composed of pipe elements, are sprinkled with sea water (prospectus from Marston Excelsior Limited, "Evaporation systems for liquefied natural gas" , Pp. 1 and 2). There is a risk of freezing with this method, which is very complex to set up.
The invention is based on the object of keeping fuel consumption low in such a method, avoiding the formation of vapor plumes in the air, reducing the investment costs for a device for carrying out the method and, in particular, creating an operationally reliable method in which freezing of the heat dispenser avoided and the desired discharge temperature of the gas is achieved with simple means.

This object is achieved in that the Condensation of the vaporous refrigerant is carried out in two pressure stages, namely in the first pressure stage with the main flow of the vaporous coolant in the heat exchanger to convert the low-boiling, cold ones Liquid in the gaseous state and in the second pressure stage with the secondary flow of the vaporous refrigerant in the end heater to increase the gas temperature, whereby the secondary flow of the vaporous coolant means the pressure increasing device experiences a pressure increase compared to the pressure of the main flow in the first pressure stage.
In order to achieve that the gaseous state in the first pressure stage for heating the liquid gas relatively high temperature is reached, the condensation of the is according to a further embodiment of the invention Main flow of the vaporous refrigerant in the heat exchanger with approximately the same pressure and temperature conditions the evaporation of the entire liquid refrigerant in heat exchange with the heat donor in the evaporator first pressure stage completed.
In order to prevent ice formation on the surfaces of the evaporator wetted by the heat dispenser for the entire liquid Coolants occur, according to the invention when the freezing point of the heat dispenser is reached with the aid of a pump for the promotion of the entire liquid refrigerant in its evaporator, the pressure and thus the temperature of the Coolant increased so that the evaporation temperature of the coolant is slightly above the freezing point of the Heat dispenser lies.
According to the invention, a halogen or paraffin medium is used used as a coolant.
Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile bestehen insbesondere darin, daß durch den erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens- The advantages achieved by the invention are in particular special that by the method according to the invention

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below. the The drawing shows in a scheme the course of the process according to the invention for converting low-boiling natural gas into gaseous state with sea water as a source of heat.
A pump 2, Connected to the reservoir 1 via a line 3, it conveys liquid natural gas at a pressure of, for example, 70 bar through the line 4 into the heat exchanger 5, where the liquid natural gas, which is at 70 bar in the supercritical state is, is converted into the gaseous state by the fact that vaporous refrigerant, in the main flow through the line 6 is fed, e.g. condensed at minus 20 degrees Celsius (first pressure stage). The gaseous, e.g. on Natural gas heated to minus 25 degrees Celsius then flows through line 7 into final heater 8 and is here further heated by the fact that the secondary stream of the vaporous Coolant with a higher temperature than the vaporous ^ Cälteträger condensed in line 6 (second pressure stage). The secondary flow of the liquid refrigerant flows through the line to a pressure reducing device 12, where it is expanded to the pressure of the first pressure stage, and it then flows through the line 13 into the line 14 the main flow of the liquid coolant from the heat exchanger 5 to the pump 15, which conveys the entire liquid coolant through the line 16 into the evaporator 17. A pump 18 sucks in seawater from a seawater inlet structure 19 through the line 20 and feeds it to the evaporator 17 through the line 21 and thus the heat of evaporation required for the evaporation of the entire liquid refrigerant. The cooled sea water flows through dJ.G Lgituner 2 2 ί ^^ - ^ - α ^^^ Lu ** - u & ^^ vfioixi ^ jJ back into the sea. The entire vaporous refrigerant leaves the evaporator 17 through the line 23 and divides into the main flow through the line 6 and the secondary flow through the line 24. While the main flow of the vaporous refrigerant, as already described above, through the line 6 into the heat exchanger 5 of the first pressure stage flows, the secondary stream of the vaporous refrigerant is sucked in from the line 24 by the pressure increasing device 25 and compressed to the condensation pressure of the second pressure stage. With the compression end temperature of the second pressure stage, which is higher than that of the first pressure stage, the secondary flow of the vaporous refrigerant now passes through the line 26 into the final heater 8, condenses there and flows again as a secondary flow of the liquid refrigerant through the line 11, via the Pressure reducing device 12 and through the lines 13 and 14 of the pump 15 to.
