Abstract

The arrangement for utilising the energy of sea waves uses a submerged float anchored on the sea bottom. This float oscillates along its longitudinal axis oriented in the wave propagation direction. Electrical energy is generated by a relatively simple arrangement. The float is anchored on the sea bottom with four ropes which are arranged at an angle. A fixed ring encloses the float and electric current is generated by induction due to relative movement between the floating body and the ring shaped induction coil.
