Bekannt sind unplattierte Stahlbänder nach den Gütevorschriften von DIN 17 175 (nahtlose Rohre aus warmfesten Stählen). Für diese warmfesten Stahlbänder ist für das Glühen nach dem Schweißen bzw. Walzen eine Glühtemperatur von 6500 Celsius bis 7000 Celsius vorgeschrieben.
