Die Begrenzung des Bildes nach unten erfolgt durch den vorderen Rand des Hohlspiegels i, welcher zu diesem Zwecke vorteilhafterweise eine Einfassung (z. B. aus Karton) erhält. Da der Hohlspiegel höher als das Bild c liegt, so wird durch den überstehenden vorderen Rand der Eindruck des »Zurückliegens« des Bildes wesentlich erhöht und zugleich die Erscheinung des »Weit-unterdem-Beschauer-Liegens« hervorgerufen.The spatial impression can be enhanced by inserting the frame g (cf.
