Abstract

The reaction times of biological, chemical or physical sewage treatments are reduced by applying an alternating or constant magnetic field. Apart from the treatment of sewage and industrial wastes, for all bioproduction processes in breweries, and the pharmaceutical industry, for the treatment of water for process purposes or drinking water. This requires little extra expenditure because the magnets can be connected directly to an ordinary 220 V or 380 V mains supply at 50 Hz. Suitably a coil to produce a magnetic field is encapsulated in polyethylene. It has a diameter of 200 mm. and a length fo 200 mm. and is immersed into an aeration basin for activated sludge. The process treatment time is considerably shortened thereby and the total volume required is reduced thereby.

U.A. SEI DER BIOLOGISCHEN ABWASSERBEHANDLUNG Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren mit masnetischer Induktion, durch welches u.a. die Umsetzprozeßzeiten während der biologischen Abwasserbehandlung verkürzt werden.U.A. BE OF BIOLOGICAL SEWAGE TREATMENT The invention relates to a method with magnetic induction, through which, among other things, the transfer process times can be shortened during biological wastewater treatment.

A.It is known that waste water constituents in Microorganisms and energy are converted. Furthermore, it is known that due to the influence of the field the above-described implementation processes are significantly accelerated (dissertation Dipl.-Ing. A.

Varga, Heidelberg, 19. 6. 1973). Hierfür sind allerdings bedeutende zusätzliche Ausgaben erforderlich.Varga, Heidelberg, June 19, 1973). For this, however, are important additional expenses required.

The invention is now based on the task of these additional Significantly reduce expenses. According to the invention, this object is achieved by that a simultaneous treatment of the sewage - oil sludge mixture with magnetic fields he follows. The coils generating the magnetic field are designed so that they match the network characteristics 220 V or 380 V and 50 Hz operated can be. With a spatial small magnetic traps can significantly shorten the treatment times and thus Construction volumes are significantly reduced Coil, e.g. hard-encapsulated in polyethylene, with the dimensions diameter, nesser / length E. = 20c mm / 200 mm works submerged in an aeration tank.
