Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung von teilweise bekannten Dicarbon-arylhydrazidsäuren und deren
Salzen als Fungizide.

Es ist bereits bekannt geworden, daß gewisse organische
Hydrazin-Verbindungen als Fungizide verwendet werden können. So zeigt z.B. Chinon-oxim-benzoylhydrazon eine Wirkung
als Saatgutbeizmittel (vgl. z.B. DT-AS 1 001 854). Allerdings ist die Wirkung bei samenbürtigen Getreidekrankheiten unzureichend.
Hydrazin-Verbindungen als Fungizide verwendet werden können. So zeigt z.B. Chinon-oxim-benzoylhydrazon eine Wirkung
als Saatgutbeizmittel (vgl. z.B. DT-AS 1 001 854). Allerdings ist die Wirkung bei samenbürtigen Getreidekrankheiten unzureichend.
Es wurde gefunden, daß die teilweise bekannten Dicarbonarylhydrazidsäuren
und deren Salze der Formel

starke fungizide Eigenschaften aufweisen.
Überraschenderweise zeigen die Dicarbon-arylhydrazidsäuren eine erheblich höhere fungizide Wirkung bei samenbürtigen
Getreidekrankheiten als die aus dem Stande der Technik bekannten obengenannten Verbindungen. Die erfindungsgemäß
verwendbaren Wirkstoffe stellen somit eine Bereicherung der Technik dar.
Durch die allgemeine Formel (I) sind die erfindungsgemäß
zu verwendenden Dicarbon-arylhydrazidsäuren genau definiert. Einige erfindungsgemäße Verbindungen sind bereits bekannt
(vgl. HeIv. Chim. Acta 3J_, 510 (1954); J. Am. Chem. See. 81_, 1721
(1959)). In der Formel (I) stehen R. und R„ vorzugsweise
für Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Methoxy, Methylmercapto, Trifluormethyl, Trifluormethoxy, Trifluormethylmercapto
und/oder Nitro. X bedeutet vorzugsweise eine gerade oder verzweigte Alkan- oder Alken-Gruppierung mit 2 bis 4

C-Atomen, eine Cycloalkan-, Cycloalken- oder Cycloalkadiengruppe mit 4 bis 7 C-Atomen oder einen Phenylen-Rest.
Viele der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen sind neu, sie können
jedoch nach bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden, indem man ein Arylhydrazin der Formel

Zur Überführung in geeignete Salze setzt man zur Neutralisation Alkali- oder Erdalkalihydroxyd zu und fällt
gegebenenfalls mit einem Schwermetallsalz aus.
Geeignete Arylhydrazine der Formel (II) sind z.B. Phenyl-, 2-Chlorphenyl-, 3,4-Dichlorphenyl-, 3-Chlor-4-methylphenyl-,
4-Methoxyphenyl-, 3-Chlor-4-methylmercaptophenyl-, 3-Trifluormethylphenyl-,
3-Chlor-4-trifluormethylphenyl-, 3-Chlor-4-trifluormethoxyphenyl-,
4-Methyl-3-trifluormethylphenyl-, 3-Chlor-4-difluorchlormethylmercaptophenyl und 3-Nitrophenylhydrazin.
Als Dicarbonsäureanhydride der Formel (III) können Maleinsäure-, Bernsteinsäure-, Itaconsäure-, Citraconsäure-,
Glutarsäure-, 1,2-Cyclopentandicarbonsäure, 1,2-Cyclohexandicarbonsäure,

Die erfindungsgemäß verwendbaren Wirkstoffe weisen eine
starke fungitoxische und eine bakteriotoxische Wirkung auf. Sie schädigen Kulturpflanzen in den zur Bekämpfung
von Pilzen und Bakterien notwendigen Konzentrationen nicht und haben eine geringe Warmblütertoxizität. Aus diesen
Gründen sind sie für den Gebrauch als Pflanzenschutzmittel zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen und Bakterien geeignet.
Fungitoxische Mittel im Pflanzenschutz werden eingesetzt zur Bekämpfung von Plasmodiophoromycetes, Oomycetes,
Chytridiomycetes, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Deuteromycetes.

Die erfindungsgemäß verwendbaren Wirkstoffe können angewandt
werden gegen parasitäre Pilze und Bakterien, die oberirdische Pflanzenteile befallen oder die Pflanzen vom Boden her angreifen,
sowie gegen samenübertragbare Krankheitserreger. So besteht z.B. insbesondere eine gute Wirkung gegen durch
Helminthosporium-Arten verursachte samenbürtige Mykosen, so z.B. gegen die Streifenkrankheit der Gerste.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in die üblichen
Formulierungen übergeführt werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate. Diese werden in
bekannter Weise hergestellt, z.B. durch Vermischen der Wirkstoffe mit Streckmitteln, also flüssigen Lösungsmitteln,
unter Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von oberflächenaktiven
Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln und/oder Dispergiermitteln und/oder schaumerzeugenden Mitteln. Im Falle
der Benutzung von Wasser als Streckmittel können z.B. auch organische Lösungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet
werden. Als flüssige Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen in Frage: Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol, Benzol oder Alkylnaphthaline,
chlorierte Aromaten oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Chlorbenzole, Chloräthylene oder
Methylenchlorid, aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Cyclohexan oder Paraffine, z.B. Erdölfraktionen, Alkohole,
wie Butanol oder Glykol sowie deren Äther und Ester, Ketone wie Aceton, Methyläthylketon, Methylisobutylketon oder
Cyclohexanon, stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit verflüssigten gasförmigen
Streckmitteln oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei normaler Temperatur und unter
Normaldruck gasförmig sind, z.B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie

Dichlordifluormethan oder Trichlorfluormethan; als feste
Trägerstoffe: natürliche Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden,
Talkum, Kreide, Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmorillonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische Gesteinsmehle, wie
hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate; als Emulgiermittel; nichtionogene und anionische Emulgatoren,
wie Polyoxyäthylen-Fettsäure-Ester, Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther,
z.B. Alkylaryl-polyglykol-Ä'ther, Alkylsulfonate, Alkylsulfate, Arylsulfonate sowie Eiweißhydrolysate;
als Dispergiermittel: z.B. Lignin, Sulfitablaugen und Methylcellulose.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in den Formulierungen
in !Mischungen mit anderen bekannten Wirkstoffen vorliegen, wie Fungiziden, Insekten, Acariziden, Nematiziden, Düngemitteln
und Bodenstrukturverbesserungsmitteln.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und
95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 90 %.
Die Wirkstoffe können als solche, in Form ihrer Formulierungen oder der daraus bereiteten Anwendungsformen, wie gebrauchsfertige
Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate angewendet werden. Die Anwendung geschieht
in üblicher Weise, z.B. durch Spritzen, Sprühen, Nebeln, Streuen, Stäuben, Gießen, Trockenbeizen, Schlämmbeizen
(Slurrybeizen), Feuchtbeizen und Naßbeizen.
Bei der Beizung kommen im allgemeinen je Kilogramm Saatgut Wirkstoffmengen von 10 mg bis 10 g, vorzugsweise 100 mg bis

3 g zur Anwendung. Bei der Bodenbehandlung, die ganzflächig, streifenförmig oder punktförmig durchgeführt werden kann,
werden am Ort der erwarteten Wirkung Wirkstoffkonzentrationen

Saatgutbeizmittel-Test / Streifenkrankheit der Gerste
(samenbürtige Mykose)
Zur Herstellung eines zweckmäßigen Trockenbeizmittels verstreckt
man den Wirkstoff mit einem Gemisch aus gleichen
Gewichtsteilen Talkum und Kieselgur zu einer feinpulverigen Mischuna mit der gewünschten Wirkstoffkonzentration.
Zur Btiizung schüttelt man Gerstensaatgut, das durch DrechsLera
graminea (Syn. Helminthosporium gramineum) natürlich verseucht
ist, mit dem Beizmittel in einer verschlossenen Glasflasche. Das Saatgut setzt man auf feuchten Filterscheiben
in verschlossenen Petrischalen im Kühlschrank 10 Tage lang einer Temperatur von 4 C aus. Dabei wird die Keimung der
Gerste und gegebenenfalls auch der Pilzsporen eingeleitet. Anschließend sät man die vorgekeimte Gerste mit 2 χ 50 Korn
3 cm tief in P^ruhstorfer Einheitserde und kultiviert sie
im Gewächshaus bei Temperaturen von 18°C in Saatkästen, die täglich 16 Stunden dem Licht ausgesetzt werden. Innerhalb
von 3 bis 4 Wochen bilden sich die typischen Symptome der Streifenkrankheit aus.
Nach dieser Zeit bestimmt man die Anzahl der kranken Pflanzen in Prozent der insgesamt aufgelaufenen Pflanzen. Der
Wirkstoff ist umso wirksamer je weniger Pflanzen erkrankt sind.
Wirkstoffe, Wirkstoffkonzentrationen im Beizmittel, Beizmittelaufwandmengen
und Anzahl der erkrankten Pflanzen gehen hervor aus der nachfolgenden Tabelle:

Herstellungsbeispiele

10,5 g (0,05 Mol) 3-Chlor-4-tri f luorniethylphenylhydrazin
werden in 50 ml Toluol gelöst. In diese Lösung trägt man bei Raumtemperatur 4,9 g Maleinsäureanhydrid (O,O5 Mol)
in fester Form ein. Hierbei steigt die Temperatur um einige Grade an, wobei das Reaktionsprodukt in kristalliner Form
ausfällt. Man erhitzt sodann eine Zeitlang auf etwa 50 C, läßt dann abkühlen und saugt ab. Man erhält 1Oq (65 i
der Theorie) Malein-(3-chlor-4-trifluormethylphenyl)-hydrazidsäure
vom Fp. 18O-182°C.
10,5 g (O,O5 Mol) 3-Chlor-4-trifluormethylphenylhydrazin
werden in 70 ml Toluol gelöst und mit der Lösung von 7,7 g (0,05 Mol) Hexahydrophthalsäureanhydrid in 30 ml Toluol
versetzt. Hierbei tritt keine sichtbare Temperaturerhöhung auf. Man rührt 1 Stunde bei 5O bis 60°C, kühlt dann ab,
setzt zur Ausfällung des Produktes 3O ml Petroläther hinzu und saugt ab. Der Fp. der Hexahydrophthal-(3-chlor-4-trifluormethylphenyl)-hydrazidsäure liegt bei 192-193°C.

Claims (3)
- Patentansprüche1, Fungizide Mittel, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an mindestens einer Dicarbonarylhydrazidsäure oder deren Salzen der Formel/4W °y' M-NH-NH-C-X-CO-OM (I)in welcher2R und R für Wasserstoff, Halogen, Niederalkyl,Niederalkoxy, Niederalkylmercapto, Tri-Halogenmethyl, Trihalogenmethoxy, Trihalogenmethylmercapto und/oder Nitro stehen,X für eine Alkan-, Alken-, Cycloalkan-, Cycloalken- oder Cycloalkadien-Gruppierung oder für Phenylen steht, undM für Wasserstoff oder ein Metall-Äquivalent steht.
- 2. Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Pilzen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Dicarbonarylhydrazidsäure oder deren Salze gemäß Anspruch 1 auf Pilze oder ihren Lebensraum einwirken läßt.
- 3.
