Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu neuen wertvoller. 1:1 und 2:1-Metallkomplexen von Bishydrazlden gelangt,
wenn man ein Bishydrazid der Formel I

Von besonderem Interest sind die Metallkomplexe,
vorzugsweise 2:!-Metallkomplexe, von Bishydraziden der Formel
I, worin A einen Benzol-, Naphthalin-, Pyridin-, Pyrimidin-, Pyrazol-, Chinolin-, Isochinolon- oder Cumarinrest und
B einen Benzol- oder Naphthalinrest bedeuten, wobei die Reste A durch Halogenatome, Hydroxy-, Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkoxy-, Nitro-,
Cyan-, Carboxy-, Phenylazo-, Alkoxycarbonyl-, Carbamoyl- oder Alkyl- oder Arylcarbamoylgr-uppen und der Rest B durch Halogenatome,
Alkyl-, Aryl- oder Alkoxygruppen substituiert sein können, R Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe bedeutet und die metallisierenden
Verbindungen zweiwertige Zink-, Kobalt-, Nickeloder Kupferionen abgeben.
Besonders interessant sind 2:1-Metallkornplexe von
Bishydraziden der Formel II

Alkyl- oder Alkoxyreste, enthaltend 1-4 C-Atome, Nitro-, Cyan- oder Carboxyreste, Carbamoyl- oder durch Alkyl- oder" Arylgruppen,
enthaltend 1-12 C-Atome, substituierte Carbamoylgruppen oder Alkoxycarbonylgruppen, enthaltend 2 - 7 C-Atome, Xr und
Y1 Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatome, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppen, enthaltend
1-4 C-Atome, oder Arylgruppen, enthaltend 6-10 C-Atome, und R ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Methylgruppe bedeuten und die
beiden Carbonsäurehydrazidreste in para- oder meta-Stellung zueinander
an den Benzolring gebunden sind.

Anstelle der Aldehyde oder Ketone können auch die
entsprechenden Aldimine, insbesondere PhenylaIdimine, verwendet
werden.
Als Beispiele für zu verwendende Bishydrazide der Formel V werden angeführt:

wobei die vorgenannten Bishydrazide auch, V7xe oben angegeben,
substituiert sein können.
Beispiele für bevorzugte Verbindungen, die ein zweiwertiges Metallion abgeben, sind das Acetat, Stearat, Chlorid,
Sulfat, Nitrat oder Phosphat des Kobalts, Nickels, Zinks oder insbesondere Kupfers.
Die Metallisierung des Azomethine kann auch gleichzeitig mit seiner Herstellung durch Kondensation der Verbindungen der
Formeln IV und V in Gegenwart der das Metallion abgebenden Verbindung ohne Isolierung des Liganden, vorzugsweise im Eintopfverfahren
in einem organischen Lösungsmittel, vorgenommen werden. Als Lösungsmittel für das Eintopfverfahren seien beispielsweise
genannt; Methylcellosolve, Eisessig, Dimethylformamid, Aethylenglykol und Carbitol.
Die Metallisierung geht bei erhöhter Temperatur vor sich, vor zug s-

ise zwischen 500C und dem Siedepunkt des verendeten Lösungsmittels.
Da die erhaltenen Metallkomplexe in den erwähnten Lösungsmitteln schwer löslich sind, lassen sie sich leicht durch
Filtration isolieren. Allfallige Verunreinigungen können durch Auswaschen entfernt werden.
Die neiien Farbstoffe stellexi wertvolle Pigmente dar, welche
in feinverteilter Form zum Pigmentieren von hochmolekularem organischem Material verwendet werden können, z.B.
Celluloseäthern und -estern, wie Aethylcellulose, Celluloseacetat,
CellulosebuLyjrat, natürlichen Harzen oder
Kunstharzen, wie Polymerisationsharzen oder Kcndensationsharzen,
z.B. Aminoplasten, insbesondere Harnstoff- und
Melamin-Formaldehydharzen, Alkydharzen, Phenoplasten,
Polycarbonaten, Polyestern, Polyamiden oder Polyurethanen,
Polyolefinen, wie Polyäthylen oder Polypropylen, Polyvinylchlorid, Polystyrol, Polyacrylnitril, Po^acrylsäureester,
Gummi, Casein, Silikonen und Silikonharzen, einzeln oder in Mischungen.
Dabei spielt es keine Rolle, ob die erwähnten hochmolekularen
Verbindungen als plastische Massen, Schmelzen oder in Form von Spinnlösungen, Lacken, Anstrichstoffen
oder Druckfarben vorliegen« Je nach Verwendungszweck
erweist es sich als vorteilhaft, die neuen Pigmente als Toner oder in Form von Präparaten zu verwenden.

Die Präparate können neben dem Rcinpigment beispielsweise
noch Naturharze, wie. Abietinsäure oder deren Ester, Aethylcellulose, Celluloseacetobutyrat, Erdalkalisalze
höherer Fettsäuren, Fettamine, v.7ie Stearylainin oder Pvosinamin,
Vinylchlorid-Vinylacetat-Kopolymerisate, Polyacrylnitril oder Po Iy t er penharze oder wasserlösliche Farbstoffe,
beispielsweise Farbstoffsulfonsäuren oder deren Erdalkalisalze,
enthalten.
Die erhaltenen Färbungen zeichnen sich durch hohe Farbstärke und gute Allgemeinechtheiten, insbesondere Licht-, Wetterund
Migrationsechtheit, aus.
In den nachfolgenden Beispielen bedeuten die Teile, sofern nichts anderes angegeben wird, Gewichtsteile, die
Prozente Gewichtsprozente, und die.Temperaturen sind in
Celsiusgraden angegeben.

10,33 Teile 2-IIydroxy-l-naphthaldehyd und 5,82
Teile Terephthalsäurebishyorazid werden in 200 Vol.-Teilen Eisessig 2 Stunden bei 100° gerührt. Das Reaktionsprodukt
wird bei 80° abfiltriert, mit Eisessig und Alkohol gut ausgewaschen und bei 80° unter Vakuum getrocknet. Man erhält

B. Herstellung der Metallkomplexe
2,01 Teile des Liganden aus Beispiel 1 werden in 50 Vol.-Teilen Methylcellosolve mit 1,6 Teilen Cu(CH3COO)2-während
3' Stunden bei 100° umgesetzt. Der oliv-grüne Metallkomplex wird bei Raumtemperatur abfiltriert, mit Alkohol,
Wasser und Aceton gut ausgewaschen und bei 80° unter Vakuum getrocknet. Man erhält 2,3 Teile (92% der Theorie) einer
Verbindung der Zusammensetzung CoqH,gCu2N,0,, was einem
2:1 Cu -Komplex des Liganden aus Beispiel 1 entspricht.
Verfährt man wie im Beispiel 21, aber nur mit der Hälfte Cu(CHjX)O)2-H2O d.h. 0,8 Teile, so erhält man 2,0 Teile
(89% der Theorie) einer Verbindung der Zusammensetzung

Claims (16)
1. 1:1- und 2:1-Metallkomplexe von Bishydraziden der
Formel I
C-K1- KH- CO- B- CO- NH- N=C
worin beide A gleiche oder verschiedene isocyclische oder
heterocyclische aromatische Reste, B einen isocyclischen oder heterocyclischen aromatischen Rest und R Wasserstoff, eine
Alky!gruppe, enthaltend 1-6 Kohlenstoffatome, oder einen
Arylrest bedeuten und die komplexbildenden Metallionen zweiwertige
Kationen dex" Uebergangsmetalle, Zink- oder Cadmiumionen
sind.
2. Metallkomplexe gemäss Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass A einen Benzol-, Naphthalin-, Pyridin-, Pyrimidin-,
Pyrazol-, Chinolin-, Isochinolon- oder Cumarinrest und B einen Benzol- oder Naphthalinrest bedeuten, wobei der
Rest A noch durch Halogenatome, Hydroxy-, Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkoxy-, Nitro-, Cyan-, Carboxy-, Phenylaao-, Alkoxycarbonyl-,
Carbamoyl- oder Alkyl- oder Arylcarbamoylgruppen und der Rest B durch Halogenatome, Alkyl-, Aryl-, oder Alkoxygruppen substituiert
sein können, R ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Methylgruppe bedeutet, und die komplexbildenden Metallionen zweiwertige
Zink-, Kobalt-, Nickel- oder Kupferionen sind.
3. 2:1-Metallkomplexe gemass Anspruch 1 oder 2, gekennzeichnet
durch ein Bishydrazid der Formel I.

5. Metallkomplexe gemäss Anspruch 1 oder 2, gekennzeichnet

Alkyl- oder Alkoxyx-oste, enthaltend 1-4 C-Atome,
Nitro-, Cyan- oder Carboxyreste, Carbamoyl- oder durch Alkyl-
oder Arylgruppen, enthaltend 1-12 C-Atome, substituierte Carbamoylgruppen oder Alkoxycsrbony!gruppen, enthaltend 2-7
C-Atome, X' und Y' Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatome, Alkyl-
oder Alkoxygruppen, enthaltend 1-4 C-Atome, oder Arylgruppen, enthaltend 6-10 C-Atome, und R ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine
Methylgruppe bedeuten und die beiden Carbonsäurehydrazidreste in para- oder meta-Stellung zueinander an den Benzolring gebunden
sind.
6. 2:1-Metallkomplexe gemäss Anspruch 5, gekennzeichnet
durch ein Bishydrazid der Formel II
7. 2:1-Kupfer-II-Komplexe gemäss Anspruch 5, gekennzeichnet
durch ein Bishydrazid der Formel II.
8. 2:1-Kupfer-II-Komplex gemäss Anspruch 7, gekennzeichnet
durch ein Bishydrazid der Formel III

heterocyclii;che aromatische Reste, B einen isocyclischen oder heterocyclischen aromatischen Rest und R Wasserstoff, eine Alkylgruppe, enthaltend 1-6 Kohlenstoffatome, oder einen Arylrest bedeuten, mit Verbindungen, die zweiwertige Uebergangsmetallkationen, Zink- oder Cadmiumionen abgeben, metallisiert.

10. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch.9, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass man von einem Bishydrazid der Formel I ausgeht, worin
A einen Benzol-, Naphthalin-, Pyridin-, Pyrimidin-, Pyrazol-, Chinolin-, Isochinolon- oder Cumarinrest und B einen Benzoloder Naphthalinrest bedeuten, wobei der Rest A noch durch
Halogenatome, Hydroxy-, Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkoxy-, Nitro-, Cyan-, Carboxy-,· Alkoxycarbonyl-, Carbamoyl- oder Alkyl- oder Arylcarbamoylgruppen und der Rest B durch Halogenatome, Alkyl-,
Aryl- oder Alkoxygruppen substituiert sein können, R Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe bedeutet und die metalli-
A einen Benzol-, Naphthalin-, Pyridin-, Pyrimidin-, Pyrazol-, Chinolin-, Isochinolon- oder Cumarinrest und B einen Benzoloder Naphthalinrest bedeuten, wobei der Rest A noch durch
Halogenatome, Hydroxy-, Alkyl-, Aryl-, Alkoxy-, Nitro-, Cyan-, Carboxy-,· Alkoxycarbonyl-, Carbamoyl- oder Alkyl- oder Arylcarbamoylgruppen und der Rest B durch Halogenatome, Alkyl-,
Aryl- oder Alkoxygruppen substituiert sein können, R Wasserstoff oder eine Methylgruppe bedeutet und die metalli-

sierenden Verbindungen zweiwertige Zink-, Kobalt-, Nickeloder
Kupferionen abgeben.
11. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass man von einem Bishydrazid der Formel II

ausgeht, worin X, Y und Z Wasserstoff-, Chlor- oder Bromatome,
Hydroxygruppen, Alkyl- oder Alkoxyreste, enthaltend 1-4 C-Atome, Nitro-, Cyan- oder Carboxyreste, Carbamoyl- oder durch Alkyl-
oder Ary!gruppen, enthaltend 1 - 12 C-Atome, substituierte
Carbamoylgruppen oder Alkoxycarbonylgruppen, enthaltend 2-7 C-Atome, X1 und Y1 Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatome, Alkyl- oder
Alkoxygruppen, enthaltend 1-4 C-Atome, oder Arylgruppen, enthaltend 6-10 C-Atome, und R ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine
Methylgruppe bedeuten und die beiden Carbonsäurehydrazidreste in para- oder meta-Stellung zueinander an den Benzolring gebun-,
den sind.
12. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man von metallisierenden Verbindungen, die zweiwertige
Kobalt-, Nickel-, Kupfer- oder Zinkionen abgeben, ausgeht.
13. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man von metallisierenden Verbindungen, die Kupferionen abgeben,

14. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass man als metallisierende Verbindungen das Acetat, Stearat, Chlorid, Sulfat, Nitrat oder Phosphat des Kobalts, Nickels,
Kupfers oder Zinks verwendet.

15. Verfahren zum Pigmentieren von hochmolekularem organischem Material, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung der Bishydrazidmetallkomplexe
gemäss den Ansprüchen 1-8 als Pigmente.
