Abstract

The aerial flare rises 50 to 200m to give light in the visible and/or infra red spectral regions for 50 to 100 seconds has a housing and a radiator seating mounted within another housing inside the main housing. There is an ejector and propulsion system with drive power and ignition system. It is constructed such that the seating ignitor (18) is mounted in the drive or propulsion level (12). The braking system (9) comprising a ballon which is filled with gas is mounted on the side of the radiator seat (11) which is directed away from the drive or propulsion level (12). The ejector is at the same leve as as the propellant (12).
