In such so-called air heat pumps, the evaporator heat is withdrawn from the air flowing through. To the evaporation ^ temperature at the same or increasing condensation temperature not to let fall too low and thus with the most favorable possible To be able to work COP, the air in the evaporator must not be cooled down too much. This means cooling down just around just a few degrees Celsius and therefore require large amounts of air. Since also the heat transfer number between air and the metal. existing evaporator is small, there are large heat exchanger surfaces on the air side necessary. Such air-refrigerant evaporators are therefore relatively large and require because of the Speeds over 3 m / sec. occurring flow noises also correspondingly large duct cross-sections for the supply and exhaust air.
In known designs of such heat pumps, the evaporators are set up in the basement or cellar. The air is supplied and discharged via openings through the supporting base walls of the house and via channels that are embedded under the surface of the earth. The air is then sucked in near the surface of the ground and then blown out again. These openings are therefore exposed to an increased risk of soiling and impair the area in the vicinity of the building due to draft and their presence in general. Special measures must also be taken against the ingress of rain and snowmelt water. Since the temperature gradient generated in the evaporator prevails between the air supplied and discharged, short-circuit flows between the intake and exhaust sides must be avoided. The openings for supply and exhaust air must therefore be far apart, and the main wind direction must also be taken into account. This has the consequence that, for example, the property around a single or multi-family house is severely restricted in its intended utility for planting, residence and other because of the system for supply and exhaust air when installing a heat pump.

To create supply of the type mentioned, which bothers little and has a positive economic effect on the operation of the facility .
This is achieved according to the invention in that the evaporator and the fan is arranged under the roof of the building and the air sucked in from the outside by the fan is through one from the roof and a cladding below it at a distance formed cavity is fed to the evaporator.
It is particularly expedient to feed the air supplied through the cavity to the evaporator via a duct.
Such measures have the advantage that supply and exhaust air openings to the evaporator and thus to the heat pump have no disruptive effects on the building and its surroundings. A special There is also an advantage in that the heat generated by the radiation of heat onto the roof is transferred to the air sucked in can be, whereby the efficiency of the heat pump can be increased considerably. There is also a lot of air cross-sections are available, and icing is reduced Further advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the following description, the drawing and the subclaims.
Diese zeigt inAn embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. This shows in

The building is built with the help of a heat pump I 2 ! with heat - in particular also domestic water - supplied, the evaporator 15 is arranged on the stage.
Fig. 2).The heat pump is a so-called air heat pump, i. H. the vaporizer 15 air is supplied from the environment. This air supply looks like this: Under the roof 12 is parallel and in the At a distance from this a casing 16 is arranged, which consists of a heat-insulating material. The casing · Ib has openings or gaps 17 'on its part protruding beyond the outer wall through which the air from the open air can enter to the cavity 18 formed between the casing 16 and the roof 12. The sucked in or supplied air rises in the cavity 18 and also in the stage area up to the roof ridge 19 and from here it reaches a .saugkanal 21 via slots or gaps 20, which leads to the evaporator 15. At the bottom of the evaporator a fan 22 is arranged, which sucks in the required air and the air cooled in the evaporator 22 via an exhaust air duct 23 leads into the open (see Fig. 2).
The air supply via the cavity 18 has very decisive advantages when there is sunlight. This heats up the roof and the air drawn in under it from the area. In this way, the efficiency of the heat pump can in some cases be considerably improved. So that the irradiated Heat does not come from wind and air movements on the outer surface dispensed ^ can expediently run parallel to the roof a layer 2 * 1 of translucent material e.g. B. Be arranged plastic. As a result, the irradiated V arms are preserved in the roof or the roof tiles. Leave thin layers of snow Light rays pass through and do not completely prevent the above-mentioned radiation.
Weiterhin kann es zweckmäßig sein, audh im Abstand zu den Außenwänden 10 und parallel zu diesen verlaufend ebenfalls eine Schicht 25 aus Wärme isolierendem oder sonstigem lichtundurchlässigem Ma-Furthermore, it can also be useful at a distance from the outer walls 10 and also running parallel to these a layer 25 of heat-insulating or other opaque material

terial anzuordnen. Openings or gaps 26 are formed between the lower edge and the bottom. Similar column 27 can are also located between the upper edge of the layer 25 and the roof 12.
Such an insulating layer has the advantage that the heat given off through the wall and the windows 28 in the cavity 29 between the outer wall and the layer 25 rises upwards and also enters the cavity 18. Through the column 27 is also still sucked in air from the open air. This is therefore useful so that the air speed in the cavity 29 does not increase becomes large and thereby the heat output would be increased. It is possible for the layer 25 also to be made of a translucent material especially on house sides with strong sunlight. It can be useful to provide blinds to the exposure to light on the roof and outer walls, especially in summer, so that the rooms are not heated in an undesirable way will.
It is not absolutely necessary to have a suction channel 21 to the evaporator to be provided. This can suck in the air supplied through the cavity 18 even without this channel, in particular then when the stage space 13 is small and low.
Wie die Fig. 3 zeigt, können die Schichter. 2h bzw. 25 nach Art hochklappbarer Jalousien ausgebildet sein.As shown in FIG. 3, the layerers. 2h or 25 be designed in the manner of folding blinds.
