Abstract

The mechanism, used in permanent way reconstruction and repair operations, is designed to effect the hoisting of railway junction points by the outside curved sector of track, when the machine involved is standing on the straight sector. The assembly incorporates a lifting set of clamping tongs, and a chain adjusting device with a rapid locking system. The pressure controlled hoisting cylinders are used.
