Abstract

The electrically heated hot-air towel rail which is particularly useful for drying damp towels in warm weather when no extra heating is required comprises a fan which is combined with a towel rail or holder which is provided with air outlets in its arms. The cold air drawn in is heated by a heating coil which is provided either in the fan or in the towel holder arms. The hot air then flows out through the outlets in the arms to dry the towel which is hung over the rail. The towel rail is securely fastened to the wall and the fan motor is fed from a plug fitting into an ordinary electric power socket.
