zwei verschiedenen Metallen.two different metals.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 7. Januar 1911 ab.Patented in the German Empire on January 7, 1911.
~7"~ It is known that in the recently common connection of electrical lead wires such. B. made of aluminum with already laid or still to be laid copper wires, at the connection points of such wires made of different metals under the influence of the atmosphere and especially the rainwater, which often contains traces of sulfuric acid, galvanic elements, so to speak, which easily cause oxidation and destruction of the connection. To prevent such galvanic influences, it has already been proposed that when connecting electrical lines for the connecting organ; to use the same metal as for the line, or if different types of metals are placed on top of one another, one is provided with a coating on the other. ~ 7 "~
Die Ausführung dieses Verfahrens ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen die zu"XJie's invention now has the purpose Eliminate inconveniences caused by galvanic influences and essentially consists of a method and a device to prevent damage to the contact points by forming a galvanic pair of plates when connecting elec- | tric head made of two different me- | tumble. The execution of this procedure is characterized in that between the to
verbindenden Leiter Zwischenlagen eingefügt j werden, die durch Dublieren oder auf ähnliche Weise, aus denselben beiden Metallen hergestellt sind, und zwar so, daß jeder der zu verbindenden Leiter nur mit der gleichartigen Metallschicht des Zwischenlagers in 35 ■-Berührung kommt; die zerfressende Wirkung der Elektrolyse wird auf diese Weise an eine für die Kontaktbildung unschädliche Stelle verlegt, denn eine Zerstörung findet nur noch an den Rändern der Zwischenlagen statt, connecting conductors intermediate layers are inserted j, by doubling or on similar Manner, are made of the same two metals, in such a way that each of the The conductor to be connected is only in 35 ■ contact with the metal layer of the same type in the intermediate bearing comes; the corrosive effects of electrolysis will be passed on to one in this way Relocated place that is harmless for contact formation, because destruction only takes place take place at the edges of the intermediate layers,
Several exemplary embodiments of the device are shown in the drawing of the method according to the invention for connecting a cable to a line rail or two cables shown together.

Here, too, metals of the same type lie on top of one another.
Das letztere kommt mit den Kupfer- (oder Messing-) Lagen n, das Aluminiumkabel mit den Aluminiumlagen m der aus zwei homogen miteinander verbundenen Metallen gebildeten Bleche in Berührung.. 7 and 8 show, in cross-section and in a top view, a branch terminal in which two S-shaped sheets m, η intermesh in a hinge-like manner and are pressed against an aluminum cable p and a copper cable q by a pressure screw ο. The latter comes into contact with the copper (or brass) layers n, the aluminum cable with the aluminum layers m of the sheets formed from two homogeneously connected metals.
Fig. 9 shows a clamp for two crossing cables made of copper and aluminum according to the invention. By means of the screws t an upturned shoe r made of aluminum lying above the aluminum layer α and a shoe s made of copper lying under the copper layer b are tightened.
According to the present method one can of course also make cables from other conductive ones Metals such as B. iron, connect with the above mentioned conductors and that Select the material of the connecting clamp accordingly.
