Abstract

The water craft has pref. four rotating drive propellers on a long shaft. With part-application of the drive, the craft moves in the water similar to a conventional water craft. With full power, the craft travels forward above the water. The movement is dependant upon the angle of inclination and the power. The arrangement results in there being no water drag on the outside of the hull when it is under full or nearly full speed, and raised out of the water by the vertical forces provided by the angled drives. The drive angle of the propeller shaft may also be adjustable for angle of inclination.

HYDROKOPTERHYDROCOPTER

The development of fast boats went through the glider, Hydrofoil to hovercraft.

The aim was always to get the boat out of the to lift out the sucking element of the water as far as possible in order to eliminate the displacement of the water displacement. However, the advances the hydrofoil made beyond the glider are not enough, as the hydrofoils as a braking effect in the order of magnitude of the weight of the boat works.

In the present case, the procedure is that the hull is lifted directly out of the water by the drive itself, analogous to the helicopter, where the load is lifted by air circulation of the drive.
The parallelogram of forces makes the process clear.

Helikopter: Abb. 1Helicopter: Fig. 1

If the force K is equal to the size of the load L, the load is free in the air. If the force K is greater than L, so the burden is lifted. If the direction of force is inclined, the load becomes horizontal.

Hydrokopter: Abb. 2Hydrocopter: Fig. 2

Abb. 3). · '"--■■'If the force K becomes equal to the load L, the J body is in weightlessness and can therefore be lifted freely into the air over the water by slightly increasing K. If the direction of force is changed, K must be larger and increased at the greatest possible Inclination (see Fig. 3). · '"- ■■'

If K becomes less than in Fig. 3 according to Fig. 4, it falls Boat back on the water.

Abb. 5).If K is significantly exaggerated beyond the degree in Fig. 3 In addition, there is a tendency for the screws to hit the surface of the water to drive (see Fig. 5).

Claims (1)

The hull has swivel drive screws with long wave, one or more. There is no stability with a drive. With two drives becomes an analogue Reached to the motorcycle, stability is achieved by pivoting one of the drives and turns are executed. The greatest stability is achieved with three and more Drives, advantageously four are used. It can be seen from Fig. 6 how the boat swung back at rest Drive screws is held (1). There is no drive. By using partial force, the boat moves on the water like a floating motor boat of normal design (2). Only the use of full force according to FIG. 3 drives the hull forward over the water. The screws can be driven by individual motors; each screw is a motor unit analogous to the known ones Outboard motors or a gearbox from a central unit. Abb. 6).The boat is steered by one or more rudders or by varying the propulsion of the propellers e.g. side pair faster or slower. The screws can have wire baskets for protection. The drives can be attached to the hull and can be swiveled to the side of the hull (see Fig. 6). All drives can work synchronously or in pairs. The attachment can be done in the bottom of the boat hull, like this that the outer skin of the boat remains smooth (see Fig. 6). Adjustable screws can advantageously be used, the approach being carried out at a low angle and high travel at a steep angle. f \ VI $ pTti> Chtl) er hydrocopter is characterized by the fact that the hull of the boat is lifted out of the water by the propulsion of screws, whereby a forward movement is achieved according to the angle of inclination and the effort, where K ^ L is. 509814/0214509814/0214 LeerseiteBlank page
