Description
The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for a video signal detector for detecting a video signal, in order to add a control variable depending on the occurrence of synchronization pulses in the video signal with which a function of a television device can be switched on or off.
In many cases it is necessary to have functions of a Television set, e.g. B. bti image recording devices, depending on the presence of an image signal steer. For example, in the absence of a video signal, an image recording device of simple construction may and may not be used Do not operate the conveyor belt for a long time with the head disk running, otherwise it will be damaged the video heads can occur. With such devices it is also advantageous to restrict the To stop the tape automatically if there is no input signal during recording. to It is also advantageous to operate as gently as possible when playing back a recording on An automatic stop option must also be provided at the end of this recording. These switching functions can best be deduced from the presence of a video signal. As the picture content can vary between zero and a maximum value, should be the fixed criterion for the video signal Synchronization pulses are used.
From DE-OS 19 32 936 a circuit arrangement is known for detecting a video signal that depends on the occurrence of synchronization pulses supplies a control variable in a video signal with which a television device is activated or deactivated can be. The known circuit arrangement includes a monostable sawtooth generator a proper time greater than a line period, the input of which is derived from the video signal and an their rear part separated synchronization pulses are fed to a threshold switch and a control circuit. With this circuit, not only the lines but also the image pulses are evaluated. At the output of the known circuit, if the video signal is sufficient, pulses appear in rhythm the image impulses.
The present invention is based on the object of providing a circuit arrangement as described in the opening paragraph specified type, which is connected to a source for a video signal with its input and to its The output supplies a voltage that can assume two states: the presence or the absence of a video signal are permanently assigned. The circuit should be as simple as possible, but still be operationally safe.
To solve this problem it is proposed according to the invention in a circuit arrangement of the type mentioned that the source for the video signal is connected via a /? C element to a first transistor amplifier stage, at the output of which the sync pulses contained in the video signal come from another RC -CWed a second transistor amplifier stage is connected, at the output of which the synchronizing pulses are of opposite polarity, so that the outputs of both transistor amplifier stages are each connected to the base of a switching transistor via an ohmic resistor ; stors are coupled, the emitter of which is at reference potential and at the collector of which the output signal of the circuit arrangement arises as DC voltage signal, and that when a video signal is present, the two transistor amplifier stages are alternately non-conductive, so that the switching transistor is always conductive and the output signal appears as the reference potential, while at In the absence of a video signal, both transistor amplifier stages are conductive, as a result of which the switching transistor is permanently blocked and the supply voltage potential appears as the output signal.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung einer erfindungsgemäßen Schaltungsanordnung besteht darin, daß die beiden Transistorverstärkerstufen jeweils aus einem Transistor bestehen, daß die Basis des ersten Transistors über einen ohmschen Widerstand auf Versorgungspotential und über einen Kondensator mit der Quelle für das Videosignal verbunden ist, während der Emitter auf Bezugspotential liegt, daß über die Reihenschaltung eines ohmschen Widerstandes und eines Kondensators der Kollektor des ersten Transistors mit der Basis des zweiten Transistors verbunden ist, daß die Basis und derAn advantageous embodiment of a circuit arrangement according to the invention is that the both transistor amplifier stages each consist of a transistor that the base of the first transistor via an ohmic resistor to supply potential and via a capacitor to the source for the video signal is connected, while the emitter is at reference potential, that via the series circuit an ohmic resistor and a capacitor, the collector of the first transistor with the base of the second transistor is connected that the base and the
The collector of the second transistor is connected to the supply potential via an ohmic resistor and the emitter of the second transistor is connected to the reference potential.
Dabei istUsing one of the figures in the drawing illustrated embodiment, the invention is to be explained in more detail. It is
in F i g. 1 eine Schaltungsanordnung dargestellt, während in den Fig. 2 und 3 die Verläufe der interessi:renden Signale dargestellt sind für den Fall (Fig.2), wo ein Videosignal vorhanden ist, und für den Fall (F i g. 3), wo ein Videosignal nicht vorhanden ist.in Fig. 1 shows a circuit arrangement, while FIGS. 2 and 3 show the courses of the Interesting signals are shown for the case (Fig.2), where there is a video signal, and for the Case (Fig. 3) where a video signal is absent.
A source 14 for a video signal - denoted by X1 in the drawing - is connected to the base of a transistor 3 via a capacitor 1. The emitter of transistor 3 is at reference potential. The collector of the transistor 3 is connected via an ohmic resistor 4 and the base via an ohmic resistor 2 to a source 15 for a positive supply voltage. The emitter of the transistor 3 is connected to the base of a transistor 8 via the series connection of an ohmic resistor 5 and a capacitor 6. The emitter of transistor 8 is at reference potential. The collector of the T. .msistor 8 is connected via an ohmic resistor 9, the base via an ohmic resistor 7 to the source 15 for the supply voltage. The collector of the transistor 8 leads via an ohmic resistor 10 and the collector of the transistor 3 via an ohmic resistor 11 to the base of a switching transistor 12. The emitter of the switching transistor 12 is at reference potential. The collector is connected to the source 15 for the supply voltage via an ohmic resistor 13. The collector of the transistor 12 leads to the output 16 ys of the circuit arrangement. The transistors are of the npn type. At the collector of the transistor 3 there is a signal which is denoted by X 2 , and at the collector of the transistor 8 there is a signal denoted by X 3. The output signal at output 16 is labeled XA. The corresponding signal curves can be found in FIGS. 2 and 3. The video signal 1 with positive polarity of the sync pulses is fed to terminal 14. In the transistor 3, the sync pulses are separated and appear at the collector of the transistor 3 with negative polarity. The transistor 8 forms an inverting stage, so that the sync pulses with positive polarity appear at its collector. The ohmic resistors 10 and 11 form an OR gate via which the switching transistor 12 is controlled. Since the sync pulses in the signals X 2 and X3 have opposite polarity, the switching transistor 12 alternately receives a positive bias voltage from the two transistors 3 and 8 and is therefore always conductive. The output voltage at the collector of the switching transistor 12 is therefore always zero as long as the video signal! and the sync pulses are present in the form described.
If the video signal at the input 14 drops out, the transistor 3 becomes over the ohmic> Resistor 2 kept conductive. Likewise, the transistor 8 is with The help of the ohmic resistor 7 is constantly conductive. The collectors of the two transistors 3 are thus located and 8 almost to reference potential, and the switching transistor 12 is blocked as a result. In this case, on Output 16 picked up a positive voltage. So it is when there is a video signal at the input the output signal zero, in the absence of it the output signal positive. This is a clear one Assignment to the presence of a video signal at input 14 is given.
