The invention is an adjustable one
Seat belt suspension. The upper one screwed to the central ■ body strut of a passenger car
The seat belt holder is dismantled and attached to the sliding element of a suspension device. The previous rigid upper seat belt holder disregards the different sizes of the people to be protected by the seat belt, and is only guaranteed for users
with a certain size optimal security. The purpose of the invention is to variably attach the upper seat belt holder in order to take into account the individual size of a person using the seat belt.

The construction consists of a swivel tail guide (3) and a sliding block (3) that can be moved linearly in it. The upper safety belt holder is screwed into a hole (3a) on the guide stone (3). The Schwalbenschwan2führung (5) is screwed to the central body strut (Fig. 1 ') of a passenger car by means of two fastening elements ^). The variable operating position of the guide block (3) is made possible by a bolt (1) which is guided in the slide block (3) and engages in a hole in the dovetail guide Cis). Holes evenly distributed over the entire length of the swallowtail guide (5) allow the upper suspension point for the safety belt holder to be moved. A plate (6) is attached to the underside of the dovetail guide (5) which only allows the bolt (1) to penetrate the dovetail guide (5) to the specified depth. released from the bore of the bchwalbensdhwanzführung (5). Uun the sliding block (3) in the Schwalbensehwanzführung (5) up or be pushed down, until the desired position is reached .. Excluding the knurled nut (1a) going% accomplishes a J 1 eder (4) the locking of the bolt (1) in the hole located there in the dovetail guide (CS). A metal sheet (2) forms the upper end of the sliding block (3) and acts as a counter-pressure surface for the spring (4) for the »bolt (1).

Instead of the. The sliding block (3) can also be locked in the desired position by means of a bolt (i), the sliding block (3) can also be locked by means of a shaft (S). self-locking threads can be varied in height. One hole each in the fastening elements ^ 7 f 7a) serve as a bearing for the shaft (8). (Possibly also stored in brass bushes). The upper (9) and lower adjusting ring (9a) hold the shaft (8). With this construction, no space for the bore (3a) ia sliding block (3) is present r has the upper belt holders are secured i "weld-on process. In order to be able to adjust the height of the sliding block (3) with the knurled nut (10), the lower fastening element (7a) must be lengthened and provided with a groove (7b).
