Durch ein achsiales Verschieben der Nockenwelle (2) werden durch die verschiedenen Gleitbahnflächen (3) der Nocken (1) die Steuerzeiten der Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine in gewünschter, yorbestiinmter Art und Weise den jeweiligen Erfordernissen angepaßt.
