Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Kartoffelerntemaschine, bei welcher der Kartoffeldamm durch ein Schar gehoben und durch . die Arme eines Wurfrades über das Schar und einen seitlich von diesem angebrachten Rost in einem Bogen gegen eine Fangvorrichtung geschleudert wird, durch welche die Knollen vom Kraut und der an ihnen haftenden Erde getrennt werden. Die Erfindung ίο besteht darin, daß der Rost so verschiebbar mit dem Schar verbunden ist, daß die Breite des seitlich über das Schar vorstehenden Teiles des Rostes geändert werden kann. An dem in bekannter Weise auf der Laufradachse der Maschine befestigten rechtwinkligen Rahmen α ist am hinteren Ende vermittels eines Scharträgers das Schar b mit einem seitlichen Rost c befestigt, durch welches der Kartoffeldamm gehoben wird. Der Rost c ist gemäß der Erfindung unter dem Schär b so verschiebbar angeordnet, daß er je nach der Bodenbeschaffenheit zwecks größerer oder geringerer Verbreiterung des Schars mehr oder weniger hervorgezogen werden kann. Über dem hinteren Teile des Schars ist, wie üblich, das Wurfrad d gelagert, dessen Achse e durch ein Kegelräderpaar f, g von der Laufradachse aus in Drehung gesetzt wird. Seitlich des Wurfrades d ist in bekannter Weise eine Prallwand i an dem Gestell h befestigt. Diese besteht aus einem frei hängenden, mit Segeltuch oder einem anderen Stoff bespannten Rahmen i und einem ebenfalls bespannten wagerechten Rahmen k. Die Rahmen k, i sind gelenkig mit am Maschinenrahmen befestigten Streben h verbunden, so daß sie ver- mittels einer Kette o. dgl. in ihrer Höhenlage eingestellt werden können.
