Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine sphäroprismatische Spektralbrille. The invention relates to a sphero-prismatic spectral spectacle.
The invention can be used in medicine, in particular in ophthalmology. It ensures a comprehensive visual and spectral-specific reduction of visual stress as well as protection of the visual tool during short-distance viewing. The invention serves as a comfort agent as well as a means for primary prevention, treatment and secondary prevention of blurred vision.
The problem of visual fatigue when working on the PC screen and other nearby display devices is well known. This fatigue is associated with a continuous monotonous stress on the ciliary muscles (eye lens muscles) as well as the inner straight eye muscles. The ciliary muscles provide accommodation, and the inner straight eye muscles ensure convergence. In young people, such long-term stress leads to the risk of a development of accommodation spasm and to progressive pseudomyopia [2]. In middle age, signs of asthenopia arise. After about 45 years, presbyopia develops, d. H. an age presbyopia, whereby it is no longer possible to focus the vision at short distances [6].
The phenomenon of blue-green and UV-blue phototoxicity as well as chromatic aberration (light scattering) is also known.
Die Hornhaut und die Abschirmpigmente spielen auch eine Rolle beim Schutz gegen Fotoschädigungen [1, 3].Phototoxicity is defined as the damage to the retina and the pigment epithelium of the eye by certain spectral regions. The UV-blue spectral region has the most pronounced damaging effect on the eye. The phototoxicity increases rapidly with the reduction of the wavelength (from 400 nm and shorter). The cyan phototoxicity peaks at about 500 nm and decreases rapidly at longer and shorter wavelengths. The spectrum of activity of cyan phototoxicity is similar to the sensitivity spectrum of night vision. The natural main light filter is the eye lens, it protects the retina. The cornea and the shielding pigments also play a role in protection against photodamage [1, 3].
The chromatic aberration arises in the context of the different wavelengths of light and their separation as they pass through the refractive media of the eye. The total refractive power of the eye is about + 60.0 diopters (cornea + anterior chamber = + 40.0 to 43.0 diopters, eye lens (in the state of dormant accommodation) = about 20.0 diopters). The shortwave light (blue-violet) is most likely to break and dissipate in both the atmosphere and the edges of the eye media. Therefore, this light on the retina does not hit the focal point of the (red) long-wave rays [1]. In the end, a "blurred" image is imprinted on the retina.
Some solutions to the problem of eye muscle fatigue are known in the art.
The sphero-prismatic Utekhin bifocals are proposed by the inventor for the treatment of myopia [2].
The same approach is based on the glasses for the prevention and treatment of the sleep disorder syndrome [Lyalin, 2, co-authors]. The same applies to the Yermoshin sphero-prismatic monofocal goggles, which are used for the primary prevention of visual disturbances. These are caused by the near work [3, 4]. The sphero-prismatic goggles ensure optic relief of the ocular lens muscles and the muscles that merge the visual axes at a nearby point by transferring some of the accommodation and censoring work to the lenses. The benefits are achieved thanks to the less strong plus lenses ("external eye lens", which relieves the eye lens) (up to 1.5-2.0 diopters) and prisms (up to 4.0-6.5 prismatic diopters). These are built into the enclosure so that the base rests against the nose. The prisms provide for the expansion of the field of vision and the relief of the eyes of convergence loads.
This approach to close-up eye protection is considered the closest prior art.
The solution for protecting the retina against the damaging effect of "toxic" spectral regions and reducing chromatic aberration is spectral goggles. Their lenses have light filters and thus absorb the majority of the violet-blue spectral range and increase the focus on the retina. In the red spectral range, in the area of the so-called "relaxation band" (620-770 nm), the max. Transmission allowed. This, according to the inventors, contributes to the active restoration of the functional state of the retina and improves photosensitivity and perception of light perception [1].
The problem is that both types of harmful effects described are present simultaneously. However, the known devices solve separately only one of the problems.
- - Ensures comprehensive protection of the visual tool against the damage caused by sustained muscle strain in close-up work,
- - Ensures a suppression of chromatic aberration that prevents sharp image projecting on the retina, and
- - The filtering of the UV-blue and blue-green spectral range in natural transmission and radiation by technical devices that are harmful to the eye structures causes.
The stated object is solved by the features of the claim.
This is achieved by combining two effects that are beneficial for the eyesight in one device: The eyes are relieved both by prochro-prismatic and spectral-specific methods. The relief of the ciliary muscles is achieved by a spherical element in the spectacle lenses. This spherical element is basically selected according to user comfort (the matching element is in the range of 1.5-2-2.5 (maximum up to 3.0) units in the plus direction of the conventionally determined refractive power value of the eye). The prismatic element of the eyeglass lenses ensures a pleasant function of the inner straight eye muscles (the prism base faces the nose, a maximum of 6.25 prismatic diopters). A spectral protection of the eyes (of vision) against phototoxic spectral regions and an increase of the perception contrast are achieved by the light filters, which shut off the UV-blue and the blue-green spectral range.
- • Relieving the muscles that provide for accommodation and convergence
- • Facilitating the functioning of the visual system thanks to the removal of optical disturbances, ie spectral regions which cause the effect of the blurred (dim) image on the retina, and
- • Eye protection against harmful effects of "toxic" spectral regions.
The totality of the above-mentioned results contributes to the fact that more favorable and more pleasant working conditions are created for the muscular and visual apparatus of the eye during close-up work than is the case for the individually achieved effects.
The invention is carried out in practice as follows:
The sphero-prismatic spectacle lenses are manufactured by any of the known methods (grinding the semi-finished parts according to the principle of prescription lenses Duroplastgießen, etc.). They are provided with a light filter which blocks certain contrast spectral regions which disturb the contrast perception and endanger the eye structures.
