Description
The present invention relates to an on-one smile A womens garment made by a ball knitting machine with a pair of breast shells formed by widening and reducing and having cover lines in which wales run over both breast shells, and a method for making them such a piece of women's clothing.
H. horizontally running wales better wearing properties have as such with vertically extending wales. There are different procedures became known for the production of women's clothing with horizontal stitches, which deal with an improvement in the carrying ability (U.S. Patent Nos. 3,092,987 and 3,500,665). All those made according to these procedures However, women's clothing has the common disadvantage that they are asymmetrical and thus their appearance is severely impaired. The reason for this arises from the manufacturing process · in each breast shell must first be expanded and then reduced so that in the breast shell produced first, the outer half and the inner half of the breast shell worked second is extended and the one worked first The inner half of the breast shell and the outer half of the subsequently worked breast shell are reduced
The object of the invention is therefore to provide an item of clothing for women with breast shells extending over both breast shells Wales and with a symmetrical appearance and a process for its manufacture to create on a flat weft knitting machine.

Zum Formen der Brustschalen wird in
bekannter Weise eine Vielzahl von Deckschritten zumCover holes and the corresponding cover line in the χ 5 direction to the covering process must be carried out. Whether a lesser half of the other breast shell also has this positioning step before or after the deck cover holes. In both cases the shape step can be varied, depends on the arrangement of the women's garment. Instead of the cover line and from the construction of the machine a cover line can be used for this purpose. As the one breast shell continues, the corresponding halves of the two breast shells, 20, the loop group to be hung after the z. B. the two outer or the two inner or side facing away from the cover line enlarged and all four breast shell halves, each have several adjacent cover lines corresponding to one another when reducing the other breast shell. The cover lines can each be reduced from the side facing away from the cover line arranged at an angle to one another. Are the meshes enlarged or also parallel to one another? As a result, the group in the further and the reduction of the measles adaptation to the body shape can be as large as the one or more cover lines from the upper breast-speaking cover steps, so the cover lines separate the lower breast shell part more on a common straight line . However, in order to have a wales inclined or curved in relation to this straight line as the upper breast shell part. Furthermore, for this purpose, between the 3 <> cover line, when one of the two breast shells is extended, one of the breast shells is separated from each other Reduced half of both breastshields covering process were ranged, from the subsequent len, a covering process also provided for a product area was excluded. In an analogous way will be. If the women's garment is then to serve as a corset 35 when the other breast shell is reduced, the lower breast shell is followed by a corresponding number of the cover lines disadvantageous an area with straight, continuous meshes, which adjoin the previous cover rods. Process were not reassigned, added to the stitches group to be reassigned for the production of such women's clothing. An inclined or curved cover needle with adjustable thread guide path and controllable thread guide needle can be used to improve the wearing properties of these pieces using a conventional flat weft knitting machine 40 manner. Also is a different arrangement the cover line is often desirable for fashionable purposes. For making corsets the thread guide is at least on one side of the cover line over the area of the transferred stitches moved out; but also on the other side of the cover line, with the corresponding contour of the Corsets or other women's clothing

Selbstverständlich können die genannten Verfahren auch miteinander kombiniert werden, so daßthe other breast shell are formed in the usual way double mesh. In this case, in the diminished part of one breast shell, it becomes that of the cover line adjacent second stitch of the stitch group to be transferred does not participate in the covering process, while the corresponding mesh in the widened part of the other breast shell takes part in the covering process. Of course, the processes mentioned can also be combined with one another, so that

First of all, the production of a women's garment will be described using the example of a brassiere. which has breast shells 1 and 2 formed by widening and reducing and in which the Wales 4 run over both breast shells 1 and 2 (Fig. 1). Side parts 30 and 31 adjoin the outer sides of the breast shells, while the breast shells 1 and 2 are separated from one another by a product surface 3.
As shown in FIG. 1, the side part 31 became first, then the breast shell 2, then the surface of the goods 3, then the breast shell 1 and finally the side part 30 knitted. Thus, the enlarged half 20 and 10 of each breast shell 2 and 1 cover holes and the diminished half 21 and 11 2 and 1 double stitches on each breast shell. The widened half 20 of the breast shell 2, however, is the Side part 31, d. H. the outside of the brassiere, and the widened half 10 of the breast shell 1 of the Goods surface 3 between the two breast shells 1 and 2 facing. The well-known items of women's clothing with 1 and 2 extending over both breast shells Wales 4 are therefore asymmetrical, so that their appearance is significantly impaired.
The brassiere according to the invention according to FIG. 1, however, has 20, 21, 10 and 11 in all four halves of the two breast shells 2 and 1 each have a cover line 22, 23, 24 and 25 consisting of cover holes.
Zur besseren Erläuterung des Verfahrens, das zur Herstellung des vorstehend beschriebenen Büstenhalters Anwendung findet, ist der Ausschnitt A der Brustschale 2 in F i g. 2 in vergrößertem Maßstab nochmals dargestellt. For a better explanation of the method used to manufacture the brassiere described above, the section A of the breast shell 2 is shown in FIG. 2 shown again on an enlarged scale.
Since the method of making the half 10 of the breast shell Ϊ the method of making the Half 20 corresponds to the breast shell 2, just as this applies in an analogous manner to half 11 of the breast shell 1 and half 21 of the breast shell 2, it does not require a special description of the manufacturing process the breast shell 1, since this corresponds completely to that of the breast shell 2. The explanations in connection with the production of the cover lines 22 and 23 thus also apply to the Making the cover lines 24 and 25 too.
23 befindlichen Masche 49.In the expanded half 20 of the breast shell 2, the loops 40 of the loop group 44 in each second row to the left, so that cover holes 43 arise, while in each intermediate Row the stitches 41 of the stitch group 45 are shifted to the right, so that cover holes 42 arise. The stitch group 44 to be hung on the left includes all stitches 40 to the left of the Cover line 22 or 23 located mesh 48. In the same way includes the to be hung to the right Mesh group 45 all stitches 41 to the right of the cover lines 2 and 23 including those on the cover line 22 or 23 located mesh 49.
Damit die Decklinie 23 trotzdem Decklöcher 42 und 43 aufweist, wird in jeder zweiten Maschenreihe in den Maschengruppen 44 die zweite MascheIn the reduced half 21 of this breast shell 2, the same mesh groups 44 and 45 are after inside, d. Jede zu verhängende Masche ist durch einen schrägen Strich wiedergegeben, der die Lage dieser Masche an-Fig. 3 shows the sample cartridge, according to which the in Fi g. 2 shown mesh pattern is generated. Every The mesh to be imposed is represented by an oblique line, which indicates the position of this mesh.

A conventional flat knitting machine with individually selectable knitting machines is used to carry out this process Cover needles application, for example according to French patent specification 1,476,248. From Such a machine is shown in FIG. 1 with a needle bar 5 with chair needles 50 and a left cover rake 51 with cover needles 52 and a right cover rake 53 with cover needles 54 and the cover rails 55 and 56 for controlling the two cover rakes 51 and 53 are shown. The cover rakes 51 and 53 are from their line of contact 98, which in the basic position is exactly in the center of the font 98, to the desired Cover step sizes can be adjusted laterally so that they do not interfere with each other. So be either only one cover rake 51 or 53 or both cover rakes 51 and 53 away from the font center 98 ' outside or together offset in the same direction.
After each offset movement, the cover rake returns to its original position, or the cover rakes return to their starting position back, the covering operation during the first or the second of these two displacement movements can be carried out. The other movement is just a positioning step, to move the cover rake into the starting position or the basic position required for a covering process bring back. For these covering processes, the cover needles 52 and 54 are vertically displaceable.

Accordingly, in the reduced halves 21 and 11 of the breast shells 2 and 1, the stitch group 44 and 45, respectively, to be slung over and thus the wale number is reduced from the outside by gradually decreasing Cover needles 52 and 54 are selected for the minor process.
Since the cover rake 51 and 53 with the cover needles 52 and 54 through the positioning step again and again are brought into the same basic position, the cover lines 22, 23, 24 and 25 are on a common Straight line 28 (Fig. 1). Should the cover lines however be inclined with respect to the straight line 28, the procedure is as follows: When one breast shell is extended, at least one becomes the top line adjacent stitches, which were transferred in the previous covering process, from the next Covering process excluded, while when reducing the other breast shell a corresponding one Number of stitches adjacent to the cover line that were not reassigned during the previous covering process is added to the stitch group to be transferred. The slope of the deck line depends on the number of more or less reassigned per mating process compared to the previous mating process Stitches. If this number changes from covering operation to covering operation, a curved one is created Cover line.
In the embodiments described, the cover lines 22 to 25 have cover holes 42 and 43. Other embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in FIGS. 4 to 8. FIG. 5 is an enlarged reproduction of section B from FIG. 4 and FIG. 7 is an enlarged reproduction of section E from FIG. 5 and 7 are obtained in different ways and will be described in turn below.
The in F i g. 4, cover lines 70 and 72 shown in the expanded halves 20 and 10 of the Bustschaien 2 'and 1' have, according to FIG. 5, interlaced meshes 65 and 66 and the cover lines 71 and 73 in the diminished ones Halves 21 and 11 double stitches 67 and 68 on.
To produce interlaced meshes 65 and 66, cover needles 52 ground on one side are provided or 54 prerequisite. The needles 52 and 54 can either be on the line of contact 98 of the two cover rakes 51 and 53 (Fig. 1) be ground facing or facing away, so that the mesh side wall 58 (FIG. 9) remaining after the grinding is either on the line of contact 98 of the cover rakes 51 and 53, i.e. H. the center of the font 98 ', side facing away or facing.
The production of an interlaced mesh 65 is described below with reference to FIGS. 9 to 13 described, the mesh side wall 58 being on the side facing away from the fountain center 98 '. In Fig. 9 are three chair needles 90, 91 and 92, two sinkers 93 shown in sinker head 94 and two sinkers 95 in sinker bed%. All of the stitches 41 and 49 (FIGS. 2 and 6) are first removed from the chair needles by the cover needles 54 91 and 92 and the chair needles to the right of the latter by one needle position slung on the right. In this way, the chair needle 90 retains its stitch 81, the chair needle 92 takes over the stitch 49, and the chair needles arranged to the right of it take over the one needle division to the right slung stitches 41, while the chair needle 91 is cleared, so that here a cover hole arises. This cover hole is now made by hanging a stitch leg after that of the mesh side wall 58 of the cover needle 54 closed side facing away. For this purpose, the opposite is used the cover needle 54 located in the chair needle 92 is selected in a known manner for the covering process, when this is lowered with its cover rake 52. This cover needle 54 lies with its mesh side wall 58 to the chair needle 92. Then the chair needle 92 and the cover needle 54 are lowered together, the meshes 81, 49 and 41 are prevented by the sinkers 95 from this Movement to follow. In this way, the stitches on the shaft of the chair needles 90, 91 and 92 slip up and get under the hook 97 of this chair needle. At the same time, it slides in relation to the deck line 70 outer legs 82 of the mesh 49 onto the mesh side wall 58 resting on the chair needle 92 Cover needle 54 is raised and takes the leg 82 of the mesh 49 with its mesh side
(F i g. 5 und 6) usw. gebildet. Then the also increase Chair needles 90, 91, 92, etc. again and the cover needle 54 is moved until it is opposite of the Chair needle 91 is located (Fig. 11). While thereupon the chair needles 90, 91, 92 etc. and the cover needles 54 are lowered again, the slides through the sinkers 95 restrained legs 82 of the mesh 49 on the cover needle 54 up to the shoulder 57. The cover needle 54 then rests against the chair needle 91. the hook 97 of which engages in the prong 59 the needle lays and is closed by the needle. At the subsequent joint Ascent of the chair needle 91 and cover needle 54, the leg 82 slides onto the shaft of the chair needle 91 (FIG. 12). By lifting the cover pin 54 the covering process is completed. From the loop 49 hung onto the chair needle 92, there is now an interlaced mesh 65 is formed, the inner leg 82 with respect to the font center 98 and outer leg 83 of loop 49 are held by chair needles 91 and 92 (Fig. 13). In the same way, but with the cover needles 52 of the cover rake 51, the interlaced meshes 66 formed in courses XLIV ... (Figs. 5 and 6) etc. In this case the cover rake must be used 53 can be moved in the same direction as the cover rake 51 to make room for the movement of the Deck rake 51.
The in Fi g. The sample cartridge shown in FIG. 6 shows the same courses XLI to LIII as FIG. 5 This sample cartridge clearly shows that in the rows of stitches XLI, XLIII and XLV the Hen kel 41 with respect to the fountain center 98 'outwards can be hung around and the innermost handle 49 is hung around the inside again.
The formation of the double stitches 67 and 68 is successful in a known manner by transferring a machine to a needle, the stitch of which is not transferred but remains on it.

In this way, the breast principle has to observe that one leg of the mesh adjacent to the cover shells Γ and 2 'has a flatter shape than the stitch adjacent to the hole after the mesh Guide according to FIG. 1, since the cover lines 70, 71, 72 tenwand 58 of the cover needle 54 facing away from the side and 73 opposite the center line 28 'is hung through the. This principle is staggered on breast shells 1 'and 2' below. Hand der Fi g is favored. 7 and 8 illustrate once again in which this staggered wale distribution is represented by five rows of stitches LXI to LXV, which are in the lower breast shell parts 75. It is assumed that all wales significantly more covering processes are carried out than LXXI to LXXVI with the aid of the covering needles 52 of the covering rake 51 on the upper breast shell parts 74. For example, the left covering rake 51.
