Die Erfindung betrifft den in den Ansprüchen gekennzeichneten Gegenstand.
Es ist bereits bekannt, daß Dithiophosphorsäureester, z. B. der Ο,Ο-Dimethyl-S-Phenyl-dithiophos- 4,
phorsäureester, eine insektizide Wirkung aufweisen (vgl. die deutsche Auslegeschrift 12 15 171).
Verwendet man beim erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren Ο,Ο-Dimethylthiophosphit und 3-Trifluormethylbenzolsulfensäurechlorid als Ausgangsstoffe, so kann der
>u Reaktionsablauf durch das folgende Formelschema wiedergegeben werden:

Die Ausgangsstoffe sind durch die Formeln (II) bzw. (IH) eindeutig definiert. R und R1 stehen für einen
Alkylrest mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie z. B. Tür den Methyl-, Äthyl-, n- oder iso-Propyl-, n-, see-,
tert.- oder iso-Butylrest.
Das Herstellungsverfahren für die neuen O1O-Dialkyl-S-phenyldithiophosphorsäureester wird bevorzugt unter Mitverwendung geeigneter Lösungs- bzw.
Verdünnungsmittel durchgeführt. Als solche kommen praktisch alle inerten organischen Solventien in Frage.
Hierzu gehören vor allem aliphatische und aromatische, gegebenenfalls chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Benzin, Mefbylenchlorid, Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Chlorbenzol,
Äther, wie z. B. Diäthyl- und Dibutyläther, Dioxan, ferner Ketone, beispielsweise Aceton, Methyläther-,
Methyl - iso - propyl- und Methyl - iso - butyl - keton, außerdem Nitrile, wie Acetonitril und Propionitril.
Die Reaktionstemperatur kann innerhalb eines größeren Bereiches variiert werden. Im allgemeinen
arbeitet man zwischen O und 100°C, vorzugsweise bei
15 bis 30° C.
Die Umsetzung wird im allgemeinen bei Normaldruck durchgerührt.
Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens setzt man die AusgangsstofTe meist in äquimolaren Verhältnissen
ein. Ein Überschuß der einen oder anderen Reaktionskomponente bringt keine wesentlichen Vorteile.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Stoffe fallen meist in Form
farbloser bis schwachgelbgefarbter, viskoser, wasserunlöslicher öle an, die sich nicht unzersetzt destillieren
lassen, jeduch durch sogenanntes »Andestillieren«,
d. h. durch längeres Erhitzen unter vermindertem Druck auf mäßig erhöhte Temperaturen, von den
letzten Süchtigen Anteilen befreit und auf diese Weise gereinigt werden können. Zu ihrer Charakterisierung
dient vor allem der Brechungsindex. Fallen sie in ι
kristalliner Form an, so werden sie durch ihren Schmelzpunkt charakterisiert.
Die neuen Ο,Ο-Dialkyl-S-phenyl-dithiophosphorsäureester
zeichnen sich durch eine hervorragende insektizide Wirksamkeit gegenüber Pflanzen-, Hygiene- id
und Vorratsschädlingen aus. Sie besitzen dabei sowohl eine gute Wirkung gegen saugende als auch fressende
Insekten. Gleichzeitig weisen sie eine geringe Phytotoxizität auf.
Aus diesen Gründen werden die erfindungsgemäßen ι > Verbindungen mit Erfolg als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel
im Pflanzen- und Vorratsschutz sowie auf dem Hygienesektor eingesetzt
Je nach ihrem Anwendungszweck können die neuen Wirkstoffe in die üblichen Formulierungen übergeführt
werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate.
Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise
zwischen 0,5 und 90%.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen in deo anwendungsfertigen
Zubereitungen können in größeren Bereichen variiert werden. Im allgemeinen liegen sie zwischen
0,0001 und 10%, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,01 und 1%, Die Wirkstoffe können auch mit gutem Erfolg im
»Ultra - Low - Volume - Verfahren« (ULV) verwendet werden, wo es möglich ist, Formulierungen bis zu
95% oder sogar den 100%igen Wirkstoff allein auszubringen.
22 ^ (0,1 Mol) 3-Trifluormethylbenzolsulfensäurechlorid
in 200 ecm Methylenchlorid werden bei 20 bis 25° C mit 15 g Ο,Ο-Dimethylthiophosphit versetzt.
Nach einstündigem Rühren wird die Mischung bis zur neutralen Reaktion gewaschen, getrocknet und anschließend
destilliert. Es werden 27 g (= 89% der Theorie) des gewünschten O,O-Dimethy!-S-(3-trifluormethylphenyl)-dithiophosphorsäureesters
vom Siedepunkt 87°C/0,01 Torr und dem Brechungsindex n'i : 1,5262 erhalten.

Die benötigten Ausgangsprodukte können ζ. Β. wie
folgt hergestellt werden:

350 g Benzotrifluorid werden bei 5° C zu einer Mischung
von 500 ecm Chlorsulfonsäure und 175 ecm 65%igem Cteum getropft. Nach 5stündigem Rühren
wird die Lösung auf Eis gegossen und das abgeschiedene öl isoliert. Man erhält 450 g (= 77% der
Theorie) 3 - Trifluormethylbenzolsulfonsäurechlorid mit dem Brechungsindex nf: 1,4860.

Das gemäß b) erhaltene Disulfid wird in trockenem Tetrachlorkohlenstoff gelöst und in diese Lösung bei
Raumtemperatur bis zur Sättigung Chlor eingeleitet. Nach Entfernen des Lösungsmittels erhält man das
3-Trifluormethylbenzolsulfensäurechlorid als rotes öl,
das durch Destillation weiter gereinigt wird. Der Brechungsindex beträgt nf: 1,5142; die Ausbeute 84%
der Theorie.
Die in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführten halogensubstituierten
Sulfensäurechloride können in analoger Weise hergestellt werden:
239 g wasserhaltiges Natriumsulfit werden in 100 ecm Wasser gelöst und bei 50 bis 60° C mit 0,85 Mol
3 - Trifluormethylbenzolsulfonsäurechloriü versetzt.
Mittels insgesamt 140 g 50%iger Natronlauge wird dabei der pH-Wert des Reaktionsgemisches auf 9—10
gehalten. Nach beendeter Zugabe wird der Ansatz 30 Minuten bei 80° C nachgerührt, dann die Lösung
im Autoklav mit 3 atü SO2 versetzt und 8 Stunden auf 110° C geheizt. Nach dem Entspannen trennt man das
Reaktionsprodukt ab, reinigt es durch Destillation und erhält in 80%iger Ausbeute Bis-(n-trifluormeth.vlphenyl)
- disulfid mit einem Brechungsindex von nf: 1,5365.

1. O, O-Dialkyl-S-phenyl-dithiophosphorsäureester der Formel

2. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
man in an sich bekannter Weise O,O-DialkyI-thiophosphite der Formel
Als Beispiele für verfahrencgemäß einzusetzende
Thiophosphite seien im einzelnen genannt:
O,O - Dimethyl-, Ο,Ο - Diäthyl-, Ο,Ο-Dipropyl-,
Ο,Ο-Di-iio-propyl-, O.O-Dibutyl-, O,O-Di-tert-butyl-, O-Methyl-0-äthyl-, O-Äthyl-O-propyl-, O-Äthyl-O-iso-propyl-, O-Methyl-O-iso-propyl-, O-iso-Propyl-O-butyl-, O-Propyl-O-tert-butyl- und O-Butyl-O-methyl-thiophosphit
EMe als Ausgangsprodukte zu verwendenden Thiophosphite sind bekannt und können nach üblichen
Methoden hergestellt werden. Die Sulfonsäurehalogenide werden zweckmäßig nach einem nicht zum
Stand der Technik gehörenden Verfahren hergestellt, indem man Benzotrifluoride mit Chlorsulfensäure zu
den entsprechenden Sulfonsäurechloriden umsetzt, diese zu den Disulfiden reduziert und letztere schließlich durch Halogenierung in Sulfonsäurehalogenide
spaltet
