Bei der praktischen Ausbildung von Fahrschülern auf Kraftwagen steht dem Fahrlehrer im Fußraum der Beifahrerseite eine sogenannte Doppelbedienanlage zur Verfügung. Mit Hilfe dieser Doppelbedienanlage ist der Fahrlehrer in der Lage bestimmte Fahrfehler des Fahrschülers zu korrigieren. Er kann bei Bedarf die Bremsung einleiten oder ein bereits ausgeführtes Bremsmanöver des Fahrschülers verstärken, wenn dieser nicht stark genug bremst.
