Claims (10)

Profildichtring (10) zur Abdichtung von Rohrverschraubungen, Armaturen oder Verschlußschrauben mit Einschraubstutzen mit einer von einem umlaufenden Wandabschnitt (12) umschlossenen Durchtrittsöffnung (11) und mit in einer symmetrischen Anordnung beidseitig von dem Wandabschnitt (12) ausgehenden, sich schräg nach außen erweiternden Schrägflächen (13) wobei die Schrägflächen (13) in einem derartigen Winkel zur Achse (15) der Durchtrittsöffnung (11) angeordnet sind, daß bei einseitig auf den Profildichtring ausgeübtem Druck die der Druckbelastung abgewandte Schrägfläche (13) in eine im rechten Winkel zur Achse (15) der Durchtrittsöffnung (11) ausgerichtete Lage verformt wird. 1.
