Description
The present invention relates to a photovoltaic system with a plurality of photovoltaic modules, each comprising a plurality of photovoltaic cells. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a photovoltaic system with a plurality of photovoltaic modules and a mounting unit, wherein the photovoltaic modules are mounted by means of the mounting unit in an oblique orientation on a building.
For smaller photovoltaic systems with some photovoltaic modules, which are mounted, for example, on the roof of a building, there are attractive feed-in tariffs in various European countries. Most of the photovoltaic modules are mounted on south-facing roof surfaces, so that the orientation of the photovoltaic modules corresponds to the sloping roof.
The installation of photovoltaic modules on roofs, however, is expensive and can affect the tightness of the roof. In addition, the roof pitch often does not correspond to an optimal alignment of the photovoltaic modules. Furthermore, there may be problems with snow accumulating on the photovoltaic modules. Also, due to the individual design of private rooftops often associated with the installation of photovoltaic systems, a disproportionate effort.
Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a photovoltaic system available, which offers improved mounting options.
This object is achieved by a photovoltaic system according to claim 1 and a photovoltaic system according to
According to a first aspect, the present invention comprises a photovoltaic system with a plurality of photovoltaic modules, each comprising a plurality of photovoltaic cells. According to the invention, the photovoltaic modules are constructed in the width direction from only one photovoltaic cell, while in the longitudinal direction comprise a plurality of juxtaposed photovoltaic cells.
Unlike known photovoltaic modules, which are constructed both in the width and in the length direction of a plurality of juxtaposed photovoltaic cells and therefore have a large area expansion, the photovoltaic modules used in the invention, however, are very narrow in the width direction.
The photovoltaic cells can be applied according to the present invention on its side facing the sun on a transparent pane, in particular a glass and electrically interconnected by soldering tape. Furthermore, the photovoltaic modules may have a back cover and a frame, wherein the frame may consist in particular of aluminum profiles.
Vorteilhafterweise weisen die Photovoltaikzellen der erfindungsgemäßen Photovoltaikmodule jedoch eine Breite von weniger als 50 cm auf, weiterhin vorteilhafterweise von weniger als 30 cm.Advantageously, the photovoltaic cells of the photovoltaic modules according to the invention have a width of more than 10 cm, advantageously more than 12 cm. For example, the individual cells may have a width of 156 mm, which corresponds to the current market standard. Of course, if larger cells can be produced in the future, they can likewise be used in the present invention. Advantageously, however, the photovoltaic cells of the photovoltaic modules according to the invention have a width of less than 50 cm, more advantageously less than 30 cm.
Further advantageously, the photovoltaic modules can have a total width of more than 12 cm, more advantageously more than 14 cm. Advantageously, the width is less than 55 cm, more advantageously less than 35 cm. For example, the photovoltaic modules can have a width of about 18 cm.
Advantageously, the photovoltaic modules in the length direction comprise more than 5 cells, more advantageously more than 7 cells. In particular, the photovoltaic modules can comprise between 6 and 20 cells, moreover advantageously between 10 and 12 cells.
The length of the photovoltaic modules can be between 0.5 and 5 m, moreover advantageously between 1 and 3 m, furthermore advantageously between 1.5 and 2 m.
Advantageously, the photovoltaic system comprises a mounting unit, by means of which the photovoltaic modules can be arranged above or next to each other, wherein the photovoltaic modules are aligned with their longitudinal sides parallel to each other. The photovoltaic system thus has a lamellar structure of a plurality of juxtaposed or superposed photovoltaic modules. Advantageously, the photovoltaic modules all have the same orientation.
Further advantageously, the photovoltaic modules can be mounted by means of the mounting unit in an oblique orientation on a building. In such an oblique orientation of Photovoltaic modules is the narrow design of the individual photovoltaic modules of particular advantage because, unlike large-area photovoltaic modules required for the oblique orientation of the photovoltaic modules space is relatively low. In particular, the photovoltaic modules can be mounted at an angle to the mounting plane. Nevertheless, due to the narrow design of the photovoltaic modules, a very stable design is provided because the leverage forces on the photovoltaic modules are low.
Advantageously, the mounting unit has support elements which can be fastened to a building and to which the plurality of photovoltaic modules are fastened above or next to one another at an oblique angle to the plane of the mounting unit.
In a second aspect, the present invention comprises a photovoltaic system with a plurality of photovoltaic modules and a mounting unit, wherein the photovoltaic modules are mounted by means of the mounting unit in an oblique orientation on a building. According to the invention it is provided that the mounting unit has in a vertical plane extending support elements which are fastened to a wall of the building and to which the plurality of photovoltaic modules are mounted one above the other at an oblique angle to the vertical.
In such a system attachable to a facade, the problems associated with roof mounting are avoided. Furthermore, the installation on a building wall allows the use of the photovoltaic system as a design element of the facade. At the same time, the photovoltaic system performs a protective function for the facade.
Furthermore, the installation of the photovoltaic system only minimally interferes with the statics of the building. Furthermore, usually no or very simple building permit procedures are required.
In a photovoltaic system according to the second aspect of the present invention, of course, relatively large-scale photovoltaic modules can be used. However, the photovoltaic system is then relatively far from the building wall, so that there is an increased space requirement.
Advantageously, therefore, the second aspect of the present invention is combined with the first aspect of the present invention. In particular, the photovoltaic system is advantageously constructed as already described above with regard to the first aspect.
Advantageously, in the photovoltaic systems according to the invention according to both aspects of the present invention, the photovoltaic modules each have frames on which connecting elements for connection to the support elements are arranged. This results in a particularly simple installation of the photovoltaic modules on the support elements.
Advantageously, the connecting elements thereby form opposite side parts of the frame. The individual photovoltaic modules can be connected at their narrow sides on the connecting elements arranged there with support elements.
It can be provided that the connecting elements define by their shape the oblique orientation of the photovoltaic modules relative to the support elements. In particular, the angle which the photovoltaic modules have with respect to the support elements and thus to the mounting plane can thus be predetermined via the shape of the connecting elements of the photovoltaic modules.
In particular, the connecting elements may have a triangular shape. Advantageously, one leg of the triangle corresponds to the main plane of the photovoltaic module, while the other leg corresponds to the connection plane with the support elements. In particular, the connection plane with the support elements can correspond to the mounting plane.
Advantageously, therefore, the connection plane is vertically aligned as the wall to which the photovoltaic system according to the invention can be mounted.
Furthermore, it can be provided according to the invention that the photovoltaic modules are attachable to the mounting unit for mounting. In particular, the photovoltaic modules can be attached to the support elements. Furthermore, it can be provided that the photovoltaic modules continue to be screwed to the support elements.
The support elements may be strips, which run parallel to each other at a certain distance. In particular, these strips are connectable to a building, in particular to a wall of a building.
In this case, the support elements can be formed in particular by profiled strips. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the profile strips can simultaneously serve as cable channels. This allows the cables which are used for the electronic connection of the photovoltaic modules, in the also used for mounting the photovoltaic modules support elements run.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the support elements are placed on foundations which receive vertically extending loads. The connection of the support elements with the wall must therefore only take up tilting moments.
Furthermore, the photovoltaic modules can be mounted with a certain distance from each other on the mounting unit. Advantageously, the distances between the individual photovoltaic modules are identical. The distance may further advantageously be between 10 cm and 50 cm.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, reflectors are arranged between adjacent photovoltaic modules of the photovoltaic system according to the invention. This has the advantage that the light output and thus the performance of the photovoltaic system is improved. Furthermore, through the use of reflectors, which completely fill the space between adjacent photovoltaic modules, a full-surface covering of the mounting plane can be achieved. As a result, a particularly good protection z. B. achieved by building walls.
As reflectors come, for example, metal sheets or coated textiles in rage. The reflectors are so inexpensive to produce.
Advantageously, the reflectors are attached to the mounting unit. In this case, the reflectors may also have connecting elements with which they can be fastened to the mounting unit and in particular to the support elements of the mounting unit. Advantageously, the reflectors on the mounting unit and in particular on the support elements are plugged and further advantageously with these screwed.
In particular, the attachment of the reflectors to the mounting unit can be carried out in the same way as for the photovoltaic modules.
Advantageously, the reflectors are aligned at an angle to the photovoltaic modules. In particular, the reflectors may each extend from an upper edge of a photovoltaic module to a lower edge of the adjacent photovoltaic module. Advantageously, the angle of the reflectors is predetermined by the shape of the connecting elements with the mounting unit.
Furthermore, it is possible to install an insulating layer between a photovoltaic system according to the invention and the wall of the building on which the photovoltaic system is installed. As a result, a better insulation of the building is achieved. Particularly advantageous in this case, the photovoltaic modules and the reflectors form a continuous outer skin. In particular, the arrangement of photovoltaic modules and reflectors on the mounting unit can be carried out as described above. Advantageously, the insulating layer is arranged between the wall and the mounting unit of the photovoltaic system.
The present invention further includes a photovoltaic module for photovoltaic systems, as described above. In particular, the photovoltaic module is constructed in the width direction of only one photovoltaic cell, while in the longitudinal direction comprises a plurality of juxtaposed photovoltaic cells. Further advantageously, the photovoltaic module has the above-described connecting elements.
Furthermore, the present invention comprises a mounting unit for a photovoltaic system, as described above.
Furthermore, the present invention comprises a reflector for a photovoltaic system, as described above. In particular, such a reflector has connecting elements, as already described above.
The present invention further comprises a set of a plurality of the elements described above, and in particular a set of a mounting unit and a plurality of photovoltaic modules according to the present invention. The kit may further include a plurality of reflectors.
Gleichzeitig rutscht so Schnee sicher ab. A photovoltaic system according to the present invention is advantageously arranged on the facade of a building. Advantageously, the modules have an angle between 40 and 50 ° to the vertical, furthermore advantageously an angle of 45 °. This is an optimal angle to align the modules with the sun. At the same time snow slips off safely. Due to the narrow photovoltaic modules used in the photovoltaic systems according to the invention, despite the oblique orientation with respect to the mounting plane no relevant wind loads arise.
The present invention further includes a building having a photovoltaic system as described above. In particular, an insulating layer is arranged between the wall of the building and the photovoltaic system.
The present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to embodiments and drawings.

- - The photovoltaic modules
1 are just aphotovoltaic cell 2 wide. In the embodiment, a cell with a width of 156 mm is used. In length, the photovoltaic modules can1 in the embodiment 10 to 20photovoltaic cells 2 include. The photovoltaic cells are arranged behind a common glass and electrically connected to each other. Furthermore, the photovoltaic modules have1 aframe 4 made of aluminum profiles. - - The
frames 4 havetriangular sides 5 on, which as connecting elements to the mountingunit 3 serve. The shape of the side panels ensures that the modules have an angle of 45 ° to their mounting plane and thus to the vertical. The modules are positioned at the optimal angle to the sun. At the same time, the snow slips off safely. Due to the narrow design of the modules, there are no relevant wind loads. - - The modules may have the following dimensions in the embodiment: The width B of the modules is about 18 cm, the length L of the modules between 1.5 m and 3 m. The modules are mounted one above the other with a distance x, which in the exemplary embodiment is about 30 cm. Due to the oblique arrangement of the modules protrude with a length y from the wall. This is in the exemplary embodiment about 10 cm.
- - The mounting unit for mounting the photovoltaic modules on a house wall comprises two
support elements 3 which are executed in the embodiment as mutually parallel profile strips. - - The photovoltaic modules
1 can on themoldings 3 attached and screwed with these. For this purpose, the photovoltaic modules, as shown3b evident, hook9 on, with which these can be hung in the moldings. The hooks are advantageously on the serving as connectingelements side panels 5 arranged. - - The
moldings 3 are used as cable channels at the same time as out1 seen. Thecable 7 runs thereby within the profile strips3 to the individual photovoltaic modules. - - The
support elements 3 be on afoundation 6 placed on the ground, which absorbs the entire weight. Furthermore, thesupport elements 3 with dowels or screws8th to be fixed to the wall. - - At the in
4 Illustrated embodiments are alsoreflectors 11 used, which increases the performance of the photovoltaic system and at the same time can be designed a visually interesting facade. Thereflectors 11 are between the photovoltaic modules1 arranged. As in particular from4b it can be seen, the reflector surface extends from a lower edge of an upper photovoltaic module to an upper edge of a lower photovoltaic module and thus at an angle to the plane of the photovoltaic modules. - - The reflectors can by plugging and screwing with the
support elements 3 be connected, advantageously in the same way as the photovoltaic modules1 , - The reflectors can be made of sheet metal, for example, with
side panels 12 are provided, which like theside parts 5 the photovoltaic modules for connection to thesupport elements 3 serve. - - At the in
5 illustrated embodiment is between the installed photovoltaic system and the wall10 the building an insulatinglayer 13 arranged so as to simultaneously achieve a better insulation of the building. - - The photovoltaic system forms through the use of
reflectors 11 , as with the in4 illustrated embodiment, a closed outer skin, thus protecting theinsulation layer 13 from moisture. The assembly unit with thesupport elements 3 is on the outside of the insulatinglayer 13 arranged. The mounting unit can, if necessary, depending on the stability of the insulating material with the insulating layer itself or through it are connected to the wall.
- - The photovoltaic system requires only a minimum of space.
- - The installation on a building wall allows the use of the photovoltaic system as a design element of a facade. At the same time, the photovoltaic system performs a protective function for the facade. This applies in particular to the additional use of reflectors shown in the second exemplary embodiment, since the photovoltaic system thus covers the entire surface of the wall.
- - By different colored designs of cells, frames and the underlying wall interesting optical effects can be generated.
- - The installation of the photovoltaic system only minimally interferes with the statics of the building. By mounting on the facade, the problems with the tightness of the roof, which arise in a roof mounting, can be avoided.
- - The assembly can be done very quickly and easily without special expertise. The photovoltaic system can be largely pre-assembled by the manufacturer, so that only little installation effort remains on site.
- - Depending on the construction law, no or only very simple building permit procedures are required.
- - Furthermore, the insulation of the building can be improved by the use of an arranged between photovoltaic system and wall insulation.
- - The photovoltaic systems according to the present invention thus open up an additional field of application for photovoltaic systems with relatively small volume and high building integration.
The properties of the photovoltaic systems according to the invention, which are illustrated with regard to the exemplary embodiments, also individually have advantages in the design of photovoltaic systems and need not all be realized in the combinations shown in the exemplary embodiments.
For example, it would be conceivable to mount the photovoltaic systems according to the invention on a roof, wherein an optimized solar irradiation angle can be achieved by the oblique arrangement of the photovoltaic modules to the mounting plane. The narrow design of the modules still ensures that this is possible with only minimal space requirements and high stability, since in particular wind loads are minimized.
