Description
- A motor vehicle with at least one vehicle window,
- A wiper fluid container arranged in or on the motor vehicle, preferably in the front region,
- At least one spray nozzle for applying wiper fluid to the vehicle window,
- - At least one hose line which fluidly connects the wiper fluid container and the spray nozzle.
The invention therefore has the object to provide an arrangement for wiping fluid supply a windscreen washer system of a motor vehicle with the features described above, which allows over the prior art, a simplified and cost-effective prevention of freezing of wiper fluid within the hose.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the hose line is arranged with a continuous gradient from the spray nozzle to the wiper fluid container on or in the motor vehicle, so that an emptying of wiper fluid from the hose is done by gravity. Advantageously, can be avoided by the inventive arrangement in a simple and cost-effective manner, a freezing of wiping fluids within the tubing, in which the remaining wiping fluid after a successful cleaning of the vehicle window from the hose into the wiper fluid reservoir can flow back.
Preferably, a check valve is provided, which initiates the emptying in its open position. The check valve may be provided at any position of the hose. In particular, in weather conditions that do not require freeze protection, it may be useful that the emptying of the hose is initiated only by the transfer of a check valve in its open position.
Further preferably, a temperature sensor and a control unit may be provided, which are in signal communication with each other and with the check valve, wherein in response to at least one predefined temperature value, the check valve can be brought into the open position. The predefined temperature value lies in particular in the region or in the vicinity of the freezing temperature of the wiping fluid. The temperature sensor, the control unit and the check valve preferably also operate after the motor vehicle has been switched off, so that the check valve can be opened when it falls below the predefined temperature value or can be transferred to its open position, so that an emptying of wiper fluid from the hose line takes place by means of gravity. The corresponding control unit, the corresponding temperature sensor and the corresponding check valve consume very small amounts of electrical energy, so that the arrangement according to the invention is particularly suitable for electric vehicles.
Under a motor vehicle according to the invention is also understood in addition to an electric vehicle and commercial vehicles such as trucks, tractors or construction machinery.
The slope of the slope is at least 1%, preferably 4%. The falling line of the wiping fluid or the gradient of the hose line preferably has gradients of at least 1% over its entire course, wherein the gradient may of course also assume significantly higher values. In any case, the hose line is arranged with a continuous gradient from the spray nozzle to the wiper fluid container on or in the motor vehicle, so that no troughs occur in the fall line of the wiping fluid.
The wiper fluid container is preferably in thermal communication with an external heater. The external heating may in particular be an electrical resistance heater. It is also conceivable to use the waste heat of an electric motor, a traction battery or an internal combustion engine as external heating. The wiping fluid container may further be of double-walled construction so that cooling of the wiping fluid within the wiping fluid container can be extended over a relatively long period of time.
Furthermore, the hose line preferably has at least one foamed insulation layer. By providing a foamed insulation layer is at an initiation of the arrangement by conveying wiping fluid in the Wiping fluid line towards the spray nozzles prevents the wiper fluid from falling below its freezing temperature due to the transfer of heat to the hose line due to a highly undercooled hose line.
The hose line preferably has an inner diameter in the range of 4 mm to 10 mm, preferably in the range of 5 mm to 9 mm, more preferably in the range of 6 mm to 8 mm. The above-mentioned diameter ranges have proven to be preferred with regard to discharge behavior of the wichfluid and delivery rate in the case of cleaning the vehicle window.
The wiping fluid container can be connected to a switchable vacuum source, so that the emptying can be accelerated by the formation of a negative pressure within the mop-fluid container. In particular, in the event that the corresponding motor vehicle is in a position which is out of horizontal, it may be advantageous to accelerate the emptying of the hose by the formation of a negative pressure within the mop tank by a switchable vacuum source.
