Abstract
The air intake is for a Diesel internal combustion engine with a cooling system and a cylinder head (1) which has an exhaust gas return duct (12) extending from the exhaust to the inlet duct. The exhaust gas return duct is provided internally with an surface (15) for increased heat transfer. The surface can be formed integrally with the cylinder head and can form ribs.
