Claims (8)

1. Vorrichtung zum Einbringen einer Öffnung in ein Werkstück (W), die eine Ul­ traschall-Erzeugungseinrichtung und ein an diese gekoppeltes Sonotroden- Werkzeug (20) aufweist, wobei das Sonotroden-Werkzeug (20) durch von der Ultraschall-Erzeugungseinrichtung erzeugten Ultraschallschwingungen beauf­ schlagbar ist, und die eine Vorschubeinrichtung zum Vorschub des Sonotro­ den-Werkzeugs (20) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Amplitude der das Sonotroden-Werkzeug (20) beaufschlagenden Ultraschall­ schwingungen derart gewählt wird, daß beim Einbringvorgang der Öffnung in das Werkstück (W) nur ein oberflächliches Erweichen oder Anschmelzen ei­ nes das Sonotroden-Werkzeug (20) umgebenden, die herzustellende Öffnung begrenzenden Materialbereichs des Werkstücks (W) erfolgt.1.
